Spaniard secures double top three at Rockingham to lead Carlin challenge.

Team principal Trevor Carlin was understandably pleased with the results from a challenging weekend on track for all the drivers on the grid.

“It was a challenging weekend in many ways and conditions were very difficult on track,” he said. “Jaime did a great job to get two podium positions which have helped to close up the championship standings. Both Oliver and Sam had unlucky weekends, but came back with great drives through the field to finish in the points in race two.

“Andy continues to dominate the National Class and bounced back from a difficult weekend in Monza to score maximum points at Rockingham. Looking ahead to the next round at Snetterton, we need to keep improving and work on the development of the car. It would be nice to have a weekend racing in the dry next time as well!”
