As the Formula 3 Euroseries tips over the half way point in the season, three teams have revealed revised driver line-ups heading to the Nurburgring.
The most significant of these is undoubtedly the arrival of British Formula 3 title contender Brendon Hartley, who has been drafted in as a replacement for Maximilian Gotz, the German having left the underperforming RC Motorsport team before the last round.
Getting the chance to sample the Volkswagen-engined car for the first time this weekend, it is uncertain whether the deal will see the New Zealander complete the rest of the season given it doesn't clash with any British rounds.
Elsewhere, Tom Dillmann returns to the grid after having his
Red Bull backing – and therefore his drive with SG Formula – cancelled earlier this year. He steps into the Jo Zeller Racing machine previously occupied by Michael Klein.
Finally, Dillmann's spot at SG Formula has been filled by Daniel Ricciardo, the Australian driver, who has won races for the team in Formula Renault this year, looking to gain further experience in quicker machinery.
