Formula Renault next step for teenager.

Adrian Quaife-Hobbs has become the latest graduate of the Formula BMW UK Championship to confirm his plans for 2008 after signing up with top Italian team BVM Minardi.

Quaife-Hobbs will contest the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 Championship and FRenault Italian championships having competed in a handful of Formula Renault races following the end of his rookie season in Formula BMW – where he finished fourth in the rookie standings and tenth overall.

Having finished in the top ten in his debut Formula Renault race at Donington Park, and with a podium finish already under his belt at Spa, Quaife-Hobbs admitted he was pleased to continue with the Italian squad into the new season.

"Having tested with several other Renault teams, we decided to return to BVM, who gave me my first chance in Eurocup," he said. "I feel very confident with the team and am looking forward to the start of the season."
