As team manager of Team SWR, Trevor Powell ran the team in Formula Vauxhall Junior and the BARC Formula Renault Championship in the late 1990s. In 1999, the team won the Formula Renault Championship with Elliott Lewis before joining forces with ME Motorsport to enter Craig Fleming in the British F3 Scholarship Class. The team ran Oliver Turvey to a fantastic second position in the Formula BMW UK Championship 2006 despite missing the first 6 races of the season.
