The Apex Motorsport Jaguar XKR GT3 will make its race debut this weekend on home soil as the 2007 FIA GT3 European Championship kicks off at Silverstone.

"Everyone at Apex remains 100 per cent satisfied that the base car is perfect for GT3 racing and this is exactly the right avenue to be taking for Jaguar's return to international racing. We will be taking a very conservative approach at Silverstone so don't expect us to be leading the races for a little while yet."
