BMS Scuderia Italia has announced a chance to its GT2 programme for the 2008 FIA GT Championship season.

Having campaigned the Porsche 997 during 2007, the team will now move to the Ferrari 430 for 2008 – with the Italian machine having been the car to beat in GT2 last season.

Despite that fact, BMS took victory in the GT2 class of the blue riband event of the year – the Spa 24 Hours – and also finished second in the championship standings.

The team has also filed an entry to race the Ferrari in the Le Mans 24 Hours in June.
