Phoenix Carsport has confirmed that it will enter two Corvette C6Rs in the 2008 FIA GT Championship.

Marcel Fassler and Jean Denis Delatraz will drive the same car that the team campaigned during the 2007 season, while the second car – which ran in the American Le Mans Series last season – will be raced by Mike Hezemans and Fabrizio Gollin.

The team will also have support from GMAC for the season ahead.

"For 2008 and 2009 we will receive the full support of GM Europe," Deletraz said, "and one official sponsor of GM, the leasing company GMAC."
