FIA GT community salutes fallen friends.

More than three weeks since the plane crash on March 30 that tragically claimed the lives of Apex Motorsport team principal Richard Lloyd, driver David Leslie and data engineer Christopher Allarton, all three were remember at Silverstone this weekend, scene of the opening rounds of the 2008 FIA GT and FIA GT3 championships.

Apex's Jaguar GT3 contender carried the names of their three fallen team members, while the CR Scuderia Ferrari 430's also honoured them with a simple black band on the bonnets.

Apex Motorsport is continuing to compete this season in the FIA GT3 championship in memory those that lost their lives.

"We were racing before to win; now we will be racing with an added purpose - in memory of Richard, David and Chris," said Apex team boss, Harry Handkammer on April 1.
