Karl Wendlinger and Ryan Sharp were unable to challenge for a place on the podium at Nogaro as they took fifth place in the latest
FIA GT Championship round in France.
The pair started from seventh on the grid at the wheel of the Jetalliance Racing Aston Martin DBR9 but was unable to make much of an impression on the cars ahead during the race.
Running sixth in the closing stages, the duo took advantage of a tyre failure for Andrea Bertolini but Wendlinger admitted the pace in the car hadn't been there.
