Q:
You know quite a lot of the circuits you’ll be racing so from the F3 Euro series - do you think that too will help speed up your development?
Nicolas Lapierre:
Yeah I know six of the ten circuits, but I don’t think that will be a very big advantage.
Q:
Presumably GP2 was your first aim for 2005, but did you consider any other series?
Nicolas Lapierre:
My first aim was to go to GP2 and my second target was to go with Arden because I think it will be the best championship after
Formula One next year, and I think Arden will be one of the best teams. So our first choice was to be with Arden in GP2 for sure.
Q:
Do you see GP2 as a two-year project, perhaps with Formula One in 2007, or are you looking at as a one-year stepping stone to Formula One?
Nicolas Lapierre:
I have a two-year deal with Arden. For sure I think it will be difficult the first years because guys like Kovalainen are much more experienced than me, but we don’t know what will happen. So let’s do the first year, try our best and then we’ll see where we are next year. I cannot tell you where I will be in three years.
