Lewis:
I had no idea. The lap before I was quick and I just had to make sure I got a good clean lap and I came round and I was third, but obviously because of Piquet we went second, but still it’s a good result for us.
GP2 Series:
You’ve been getting a lot of media attention recently, talk of
F1. Has that made it difficult to focus on the job at hand?
Lewis:
No you just put it aside and don’t really focus on it, you know? You let everyone else do the talking, and I’ll just continue with my job. What’s important for me is to remain focussed on the GP2.
GP2 Series:
Alex, third on the grid and lining up directly behind Adam. Do you think you’re going to be able to get the start and beat Lewis into the first corner?
Alex Prémat: Yeah I think we will see. I think that Adam did a really good pole position because it was really fast. Congratulations. For tomorrow this is a long race and I think that the fight will be really good in the race. My objective is to finish the race and have good consistent results. But we need to keep the tyres otherwise…
GP2 Series:
Last time out in Monaco you didn’t have the best of starts, have you been working on that?
Alex:
Yeah. I’ve been looking a lot at the data. I did a mistake in the start in Monaco, but I won’t do the same thing again – it won’t happen.
GP2 Series:
One final question to Adam. Last year you had a bit of a shocker here. Do you think
Silverstone owes you one?
Adam:
It’s not the circuit’s fault. It doesn’t know any different. It’d be really good to come away with the win. It’d be good for the team. It’s just been so hard so, you know, I think everybody is owed one and I’m going to try and do that tomorrow.
