Indian's late run gains recognition from all quarters.

“All in all, it's been a good year," he reflected, "Things have sort of gone to plan in that I had said we wanted to learn in the first half and then score points and a podium or two in the second half. Since Budapest in the middle of the year, we have scored points every weekend, and to be given the award for the 'most improved driver' shows that the people in the know also recognised the progress we've made.

"I must thank everyone at Durango for a very educational and enjoyable season. We had plenty of ups and downs - like anyone in sport - but, on the whole, it's been a very good year for me to establish myself. Now I'm really looking forward to testing with iSport soon. They sealed both the drivers' and teams' championships this year and are obviously a very good team. There are several options ahead of us for 2008, and I hope that things will all work out in the next 3–4 weeks.”
