"I'm proud to announce Kasper Andersen as an official driver here at Trident Racing for the 2008 Formula Master," Bravi said, "Kasper will bring us his experience in the series, which culminated with two wins in 2007, and will be welcomed by engineer Roberto Ficca, who had the chance to follow him in his F3000 debut last year. The Italian has three years experience in the field, and is currently involved in Trident's GP2 Asia Series programme.

"I have to thank both Kasper and his father Soren, as they trusted Trident Racing in a crucial moment of the driver's career, among many other possible choices. The team will give anything possible to provide Andersen with the best material and the best support from an human standpoint.

"We hope to allow him to show his talent in the post-season GP2 test, maybe with an even richer prize. The deal completes the 2008 line-up of Trident Racing, and the new Formula Master operation will count on a talented duo with winning backgrounds. The team will help them to improve their technical approach to the car, as well as the relation with their engineers, a must for all drivers looking for a professional outcome."

Andersen will hit the track for the first time at Lurcy-Levy, during the scheduled for the French track on 11 March.

“I chose Trident Racing because I think they're extremely professional, and I already know many people from the team which I have very good experience with," the Dane revealed, "I hope and know that we can win the 2008 championship together, and that is a good step closer to realising my dreams. With such a professional team, I have only the Formula Masters championship in my mind.”
