Bell might be the first ever Rolex driver to return to the race after having been its grand marshal, a role which Derek fulfilled three years ago. Should he race, he and Justin will form the second father-son combination in action, alongside Wayne and Ricky Taylor, while, whatever dad's decision, Justin will be among five drivers whose fathers have won the race previously, joining David Donohue, Alex Gurney, Graham Rahal and Taylor Jr.
