Matteo Bobbi has left the Cheever Racing Team after his contract with the Grand Am Rolex Series outfit was brought to an end.

The Italian driver, fully recovered from the injury to his shoulder occurred a few weeks ago during training, will be behind the wheel of a Ferrari F430 of GPC Squadra Corse this weekend in the fifth round of the Sara GT Italian Championship.

“I am very happy to drive again for GPC and I am really grateful to Gianpaolo Coppi for this opportunity," he said. “I will do my best to give my contribution to the growth of the team that is however already one of the most important realities in the International GT scene.

“I get this chance to thank Eddie Cheever for the esteem and consideration shown to me: I will happily come to work for the team in occasion of the next autumn tests."
