Casey's steep learning curve 101.

Put that one in the back of the mind for another day

As they say "once bitten, twice shy"

CS! Impressive to be so far inside the 1:20s. It would be nice to see his practice log laid out

I just hope that the Ducati race crew cut and paste all these "joyous snippets of appreciation of Stoner's riding and racing ability" all over the pit walls so the crew can be "terrified of all the anti Ducati mob vitriol!!"

Go CS, go!!

 1 people agree.

If the riders are able to devote all their energy into riding a bike that is "behaving itself", then there is less risk of the bike chucking the rider down the street.

Stoner has now a bike that is currently responding to all of HIS commands so he is able to ride it to its potential and he is able to try and find his full potential.

If therefore the bike is responding to his commands better than the other riders and their particular biles then he is able to keep out front.

Strong win in the wet. The riders with big race experience rode within the track conditions.

He has to resign or by the looks of it, he will be pushed!

The Manufacturers have a lot more clout than he ever thinks he'll have.

And CS hasn't got any "very good" base markers for the bike at this race track as he has never faired well here.

So I suspect he'll try to get a neutral bike where he can rise it without any nasty surprises for him.

speed_maniac,

CS can say what he wants to!!

He's got the "runs on the Board" for Bridgestone - You and I haven't!

1 people agree.  2 people disagree.

Because Stoner's engineers listen to his input.

Stoner and the Ducati plus the Bridgestone tyre are a "complete" package at the moment and he is able to practice or test a 'race pace" for a considerable number of laps. You develop a 'race" fitness.

By the looks of the comments, Stoner waited for a few laps to pass before moving. It appears that the Ducati is marginal on fuel economy so the strategy appears to be "hang in there, ride "quietly" and then apply all the pressure necessary to perform"
