Tom has driven in nearly 180 races which must have given him some knowledge, Also he has raced alongside Giovanardi and must have learned something about setting up cars. A year with Team Dynamics who are a proven team. So along with the top class engineers at Arena im sure by mid season they will be moving forward.
The only way to overtake is to be aggressive its just the media yet again blowing an off the cuff comment out of all proportion.Every driver on that grid will have made an over aggressive move at some point and it will have ended with a DNF. At some point it will also happen to Hamilton he is only in his SECOND year and is still learning but at least hes keeping us all entertained and its not a Ferrari lead procession
29.2 Whilst being used during the qualifying practice session or the race all team personnel working on the car must wear clothing which will protect all parts of their body from fire.
If the hose is attached to the car is that classed as being used? If so what punishments are available?
Does anyone know the rules for working on the car in the pit lane are, as from the pics and vids ive seen the first people to attend to Massa at the end of the pit lane were not mechanics.
Gipsy Pie the reason Lewis Hamilton has so many fans is that he is a racer who will try to overtake on track not like some that could be named who let the fIA give them their wins
Kimi was taking a tight line into the chicane as he was defending so Lewis would have probably got better drive than him out of the chicane and got passed anyway if kimi had forced him wide
Yes Lewis cut the Chicane but only because Kimi gave him no room Lewis then let him re pass him before going to full power so how did this give him an advantage. Kimi was clearly ahead and Lewis then out braked him.. As for gravel around the chicanes i dont agree but something is needed to slow you down if you do overshoot/are forced off so that an advantage cant be gained
IMO Lauda is just trying to get Kimi fired up again He knows Kimi is still in contention but he also realizes that another couple of lackluster performances could be the end of his title chances for this year
The sooner Max and Bernie f off the better F1 wouldn't be where it is today without them but they seem to believe they are bigger and more important than the sport. Its all so political know and even after a great race the off track antics start to steal the headlines ffs.
There are so many ifs and buts in the whole thing. Did Ron ever see the document, how many people knew about it, What did it contain. Untill I have answer to these I dont know wether mclaren are guilty or not but I just want to see the championship decided on the track and not in the courts...
The team should be left to sort their drivers out, It should be left in house. No other teams were effected in a negative way so why should the whole team be punished. Let Ron give Lewis and Alonso their teddies back and lets get back to one of the best seasons of raceing in a long time.
