I was only comparing MS and LH on their 1st season results and from what we witnessed in 2007 LH would win that comparison hands down without question.
MS did very well at Ferrari gaining more records than itunes but I still think the FIA have been holding Ferrari''s hand all the time since MS joined their ranks and that helped him achieve what he did, + he had his team-mates following his lead from day one!!!
I don''t think LH will go on to win 7 WDC''s or 91 races because he drives the wrong car, to do that he will need to join the FIA''s golden children at Ferrari LOL.
MS was a great contract negotiator & munipulator but as for a sportsman he was as low as whale 5hit.
Go LH in 2008!!!

What did Schumacher do in his 1st season??? I only remember him frying a clutch in a Jordan , Lewis has gone head to head with Alonso and matched him fair and square, he even took the fight to the superior Ferraris on certain circuits.
In his 1st season he won 4 races and set 6 poles, that is astonishing for a rookie in any race series.
Schumacher was good but he is nowhere near great.
Irvine & Barrichello were'nt allowed to race him at Ferrari and when he did come up against people in equal or better cars he lost, Hakkinen twice, Hill & Villeneuve or he rammed them off the road (JV in Japan Hill in Adelaide).
If you are looking for Great then look no further than Ayrton Senna RIP.
