Despot you have just proven my point. I also said at races I had attended - not what you watched on TV or read about on the net.

Stoner rode a perfect race and deserved the win
I'm a Rossi fan
I'm a Toseland fan
I'm a Vermuelen fan
I'm a Capirossi fan
I'm a moto GP fan
I've been a bike race fan and a biker for over thirty years. Thats a great many races since I first saw Sheene race at Cadwell in 1976. I think I am therefore reasonably well informed.

There are indeed ******s all over the world. Possibly a few on this forum too.

He put himself under too much pressure & made a mistake. Simple as. Rossi did the same at Valencia in 2006.

Did he take another rider down with him like Depuniet did to Melandri at Mugello?
Did his riding take another rider out of the race, hospitalise & make him miss the next race like DeAngelis did to Capirossi in Catalunya?
Has he been handed a ban for dangerous riding like Hopkins was a few years back?
Does he go around waving his fist & kicking at riders like Stoner did last year?

Give him a break. It's a learning year. Donnington was a hard lesson. He'll recover & get stronger.

There are A** holes all over the world, not just at Donnington. I've never ever heard a crowd boo a rider at a race meeting, and if some elements of the crowd did boo Stoner as reported then they are not true bike race fans or even bikers. Our sport can do without them.
