The tyres they have can survive another 5 laps. Our V8s are nothing like they use to be! Just like watching a congo line of cars round a track.
The only luck Audi had was when TK hit other cars and got no damage out of it! That is luck to have 2 accidents on such a high speed circuit and suffer no damage. Yes i know neither collision was at speed but if they had of been the race would have been over for the No. 2 Audi. Congrats To the Drivers and team, it was almost the perfect race for them. And thats what got them the win.... Up the mighty Aston for bringing home David Brabham for back 2 back win in GT1, It was great to see a fellow Aussie on the top step last year! Wish i was there to see it again this year.
why are so many against Stoddy. He is good for the sport, someone who has the guts to stand up and say his bit not just sit back and go yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir. I know they say the corner meets FIA standards but how many people have to be injured! They keep going in supercars that costs have to be cut but this corner has totaled so many cars in the past 10 ye**** Do something about it before someone is killed! Get well soon Ashley.
I've read a few times in here people saying what did Casey do before the Duke? Didn't he push for a few wins during the year with LCR? Yes he came off a lot but for a team and riders first year in the top class to be even in a position to fight for a win says something! Unless they are purpose built circuits i think there will be too many issues with lighting, shadows from building and so on. Its one thing to light up 13 corners but 5km of circuit! I think its an accident waiting to happen. Cars doing 300kph with little to no lighting. But i would love to see the flames out the exhaust and the brakes glowing if they weren't covered. With ya Mark on the different times, here in OZ it doesn't feel like a real GP if its not late on a Sunday night. True fans watch no matter what time its on!

Your right JH, the local boy i'm talking about was as quick as they come but did stupid things like trying to set lap records on the last lap and stacking while out miles in front. He also competed in a local speedway event braking his arm costing him another Oz title. Had the speed and ability but not the right brain power and guidance!
Thats the sad sorry state of motorsport here! I'm from the so called home of motorsport in Oz (Bathurst) and most people here frown upon the sport. If it wasn't for Yellow Pages and David Campezie Mark Webber would never be in F1. For that reason those that make from oz go so well because of what they had to do to get there. And there is lots of talent that never gets there. A local Bathurst boy use to race against Ant West and beat him on a showroom bike! And he still holds the lap records at a few Aust tracks. His family never had the cash
