My apologies for the mistake regarding senna and mclaren.
The purpose of my comment was to draw attention to the fact that there are teams who put driver safety second, williams included. As an indication of the ethics of these team owners, take frank for example, there was an instance way back, where a driver of his was killed and he was first back to the drivers place to take all the drivers valuable possesions. I cannot remember who it was but I am sure one of the knowledgeable nitpickers can assist there.
Even with the evolution to the seemingly space age level, there is still room for a bad culture
This comes from working as a race mechanic in the grand prix, but many years ago.

Senna is dead.
And it is /was much more than a jab at McLaren it is a direct and accurate criticism.
It is a team whose paradigms are regulations in design and a culture of objectivity to the point where driver safety is secondary and afforded by rules.

So the highly questionable safety record of McLaren continues. They are a team who do not have an inherent attitude of safety toward the driver.
If others who are more familiar with the total record of F1 could add to the the list of failures even starting with Sennas death ( I can hear the spin doctors now "....the inquiry found....")
I am disappointed that the english press has not raised this very important matter very much, is it because nationalism comes before respect and concern for the individual ?
