Is anyone up to date with current F1 rules and could lighten me up abit.. just wonder if he could take 10 second penalty before it was officially announced.. he was stuck behind force india for quite long time while waiting for his penalty.. if he would come into pits just after race restart he would be last anyway but at least he would have clear road in front and could push like Rosberg.
well.. he is making too many enemies on the track...
he should really think twice... otherwise webber, glock or whoever else..will simply run into his car next time round to take the kid off the track. they have nothing to loose.. will just say ups sorry mate but they can very easily ruin Hamiltons chances for wdc.
I think it might be Kubica who is going to leave BMW... althrough i would really prefer him to stay.
There were rumours 2 months ago that Kubica was offered new 3 year deal by BMW, but he turned that offer away.. and was ready to sign only 1 year extension to his current contract.
Heidfeld already has contract with BMW for next year.
Also.. Kubica and Alonso are quite good friends at the moment.. driving for the same team would probably affect their friendship pretty badly. Though i might be wrong. Will see will see....
Nice racing between Ham and Raik. Hamilton was clearly better in the rain, and would overtake Raikkonen easily over those final 2 laps, but.... he is too impatient, too confident, and keep saying bull****. ( i was already ahead of him in the corner and didnt gain advantage, HA HA HA, front of him coz u approached 80km/h corner at 200km/h and totally missed it )
He has got a car and talent, but need to mature abit from his happy slappy lower racing league driving.
Anyway... if that rain would come 1 lap earlier or would be just slightly heavier... it would be 1.Heidfeld 2.Alonso
BTW i totally dont like Hamilton but i hope he wins next one at Monza.
Alonso, Heidfeld - these are something in between, less aggressive on the track than Massa/Hamilton, more brave with overtaking than Raikkonen/Kubica. Not making many errors.
If everybody would be driving same car i guess that drivers like Alonso and Nick Heidfeld would be on top of the list..
i might be wrong though.
There is also pack of other Good drivers... who knows where would they be if they had a better cars.
Well.. each driver has slightly different driving style and its not an easy task to pick the best. And everything might change next year when supposedly overtaking should be easier.
Raikkonen, Kubica - similar calm and fast style of driving. They never overtake many people in races and are prone to getting stuck behind slower cars for long periods of time. They are fast though when there is nobody in the front. And they don't do many mistakes on the track. Always somewhere in the front of the pack.
Massa, Hamilton - similar aggresive style, fast but prone to errors. They do overtake alot. Once they win, other time don't finish races or run into people.
Jan? Pure 10% polish blood? what is the other 90% then? Vodka i guess.. no wonder why you can only write rubbish. Get sober FIRST... then start to comment.
Even though i am Polish and big fan of Robert... ... my Man Of The Day today was Nick Heidfeld.
He had possibility of winning todays race by simply not letting Robert overtake him so easily. Yet he played fair by letting lighter teammate pass. Not sure if that was team order or own Heidfeld's decision but it was surely a smart one. Keeping both cars in front, not fighting together which could possibly result in a crash between them as happened last year, have a guaranteed 1st win for the team which was PRIORITY.
Heidfeld looked little sad in the end.. even though he came 2nd. He could have won it. Hope he will get his chance soon to grab a win.
if You refuel during safety car u simply loose less distance to other cars than if you would refuel under normal conditions ( others drive slower and you can easily catch up after leaving the pits )
current ruling forbids entering pits UNTIL moment when all cars cue up nicely behind safety car. aim is to force person taking advantage in pitting under safety car to go on the last spot in cue but it creates big issue for those unlucky who run out of fuel before pits are open.
i bet they will change this rule soon and will allow cars to Enter pits under safety without any restrictions, instead they will hold those cars IN the pits under red light until last car in field passed.
