Riff Raff

Believe it or not ...... & you're a cynical **** so you probably won't :-)

Seriously 'though.
I had the opportunity last year to talk for quite a while to one of the guys who had been a mechanic for several years at Moto GP before moving to BSB.

His opinion, I only parrot it, is Hayden is almost totally what you see is what you get. He's one of and possibly *the* most liked riders in the pitlane by the ordinary guys there. No airs, no graces, no false amiability. Honest and friendly as his default setting.

Do they think he's the best rider ever?
No not really, 'though he *is* well thought of as a rider.
Is he one they want to work with?
Too ******* right

Poor bloke.
He has to say that.
I rather wish someone would give him a decent bike. He''s actually quite talented but he''s gotta be ******* frustrated on that ZX10.

Took me a minute to figure out which team Stigy Motorsport is.
Then the penny dropped - WSS. They've been basically dead solid there.
This looks hopeful.
+ Leon's no mug - He'll have sussed them very thoroughly before committing, given the chances are he could pretty much take his pick of a ride in BSB for next season.
So, it won't be easy. But it won't be easy for anyone in WSB next season the way its beginning to look. Very competitive.

I reckon WSB could be the most exciting series in 2009.
Heh ......By rather a long way too :-)

A male hen is now a word too lewd for the sensitive readers of this otherwise worthy electronic tome?

As old Rutter''s usually pretty frank about it when he ****s it up, I''m inclined to believe that''s a true bill - Tyres. Or at least set-up which felt OK but wasn''t preserving tyres.

If he can do that on that privateer (even though - credit where its due - an exceptionally well set up privateer)the 'top' teams would be pretty stupid not to snap him up if they get the chance.

Ahem, excuse me Mr Wright, there's this bloke and ....... :-)

He hasn't been on as reliable a machine as Ellison, that's for sure.

I just hope its not a case of frying pan to fire 'tho, cos whilst a lot of Karl's DNFs on the Rob Mac Yam have had rather a lot to do with Mr Harris lobbing it at the scenery, quite a few have been down to problems with reliability / component failure.

Odd they're not hanging on to Broc Parks tho innit?
He's done well for 'em for two seasons.
And Foret's none too shoddy.
Its not a bad bike 'tho and as said above and in related posts yesterday, it ain't a bad way for Cal to learn the circuits with a fraction less pressure on him.

Thank you Roadrage - *That* was the (well, one of the) error(s) in their thinking I was highlighting.

Go Kiyo Go

Be well pleased to see you on the podium yet again.

Chuffed for Sofuoglu too. That''s got to be a bit of a personal landmark for the lad.

I don't quite get this.

Against both Xaus & Checa it says 'Crash' - no time - yet they're still in the top 15.

I'm guessing they had the time which corresponds to the position before the Crash.
OK. But if that's so why bother to say 'Crash' instead?
Or does it mean something more like: The time they had was good enough to place them here but they've had such a severe crash they're not expected to actually start?

Honda have won themselves so much good will with the fans crapping on one of their most loyal and popular riders they must have a plan that goes:
Spain and Italy are bigger markets for Honda than the English speaking countries and this will improve bike sales, after all the *only* thing bikers & race fans care about is success on the track.

I wonder if we'll ever find out who they sack when reality catches up with them?
Don't suppose so. That bit'll be done quietly.
