same old sarcastic remark rich ard. I think for one it is nice to hear murry speak out over the fia and max, it is about time someone who has been associated with the sport for three decades says something. It is obvious he will get shot down on these pages just like jackie stewart does as not many agree with his comments but when the opinion hurts it's easy to say something derogative.

Max and little Bernie have a long and proven track record ever since the bramham days and are not in favour of the best interests of F1 racing in general and have only been out to line trheir own pockets. I for one hope his wife takes him for all his money.

well i agree naughtie bernie but if you think about it if lewis hamiltons partner played the team game in 2007 and slowed to let his team mate past lewis would have won last year that is how spiteful alonso was to hamilton and the team which i think he will regret in future years of racing as he has a very limited possiblity of moving between teams now. We all know Santander is going to ferrari in 2010 but will alonso i get the feeling he will not be going because of his antics in 2007 after all he admitted he had ferrari data on his private computer and when doing so he admitted he will stoop to any level to win and ferrari will not want that image at marinelo.

helter skelter i agree not with the millions every month maybe but to donate a mere $25,000 dollars is a pitance of his wagers not even a weeks money for his home countries disaster fund now that is a real shame.

As for the rest of the drivers donating like it has already been said on this thread they should be donating to their own countries disaster funds, when you think about it if we give £10 to the fund that would be massa's equivelant so its not bad and at the end of the day he did not have to donate anything at all to the fund.

mark the sport of kings was falconry

JJJ - an excellant well written piece enjoyed reading it and i agree hamilton has a serious passion for this sport and the only person i can think of who has ever showed the same level of passion is Schumi. I think lewis will step up to the mark and prove himself time and time again even if he does not win every year.

rich ard o well you will always come out with these type of comments it is really youre trade mark on the site, controversial, slightly damning and supporting at the same time.

what puzzles me about bernies plan is how do you divide up the pot of money for teams who do not win the title etc at present you get so much money given to a team if they score so many points but if it is down to three medals who decides who gets awarded each amount of money.

This really just sounds to me like a way of ensuring bernie and the fia can award the titles (WDC & Constructors Crown) to whatever team they want to reward it just sounds like it will be more of a fix than it is now it would definately give the stewards MORE power than they already have instead of less power.

Richard ---- piercarlo------. the mirrors on a F1 car are tiny, and when you have three or four pitcrew standing at your rear wheel, it is physically IMPOSSIBLE to see the instant his refueller WITHDREW the nozzle or who is driving down the pit lane.

there is no one standing between the rear wheels and the mirrors other than the
re-fuleing person he stands between the mirror and the rear wheel pit crew so know one can obstruct the drivers view of the refuling rig.

ferrari's biggest problem will be having to re-develop their whole car from a KERS design concept to a new f1 car as is all the teams and ferrari will not want to entertain the idea of this as it will knock everything out of balance in the design of the new car, for ferrari it is like taking a step backwards in design so they really already know how to get the best from the new regulations.

nice story by webber a person i like, he always speaks his mind and says what he thinks unlike alot of other f1 drivers. He has hit the nail on the head with his comment on feeling a bit sorry for heiki i just hope he has a better season in 2009.

I agree with him saying the pairing is the best in the world after all when one of them is not at the front the other one is there and they both score constructor points regularly unlike the mclaren duo.

the problem with dc is when he had a good car he still never performed with it consistently it was always a flash in the pan win now and again i would not call him an accomplished driver at all in F1 more of a hanger on for the money

Sunny the only reason mclaren did not win the wdc last year is because alonso would not slow up and let hamilton past him as a proper team mate would do if alonso had done that mclaren would have won last year after all mika only won by one point.

Danny i think one of the main reasons is that ferrari are not supplying the same engine BHP to force india as they are in their own car or that which torro rosso is using and it is thought the package will be better from mclaren mercedes in 2009. Ferrari are noted for supplying competitor engines with at least 30 bhp less than their own car for obvious reasons after all you cant have a ferrari powered car beating a ferrari.
