Shame about the injury but he spent most of his career crashing himself into oblivion, I guess it eventually takes its toll. Isn't this the same injury that eventually ended Kevin Schwantz career?
Same Pedrosa as always, run up front early, if he can't break away he gets passed and runs up the white flag. Never be world champion like that, no matter what Puig the puppet master says or who he trashes with a load of lies.
Carboniferous, I was talking about Pedrosa. Every MotoGP race he has won has been the same, a run away. He has never won a closely fought race, that's my point. Every race where he has to fight he loses, and did so again last sunday. Stoner passed him, he passed him back once, Stoner repassed him and he dropped right off the pace. Typical Redrosa, he will never win the MotoGP title like that. Can any of his fans name the MotoGP race where he won a close battle? His problem is that he has only one fast line and if the competition gets in his way he can't run it and he loses.
Typical Pedrosa race, he got passed and ran up the white flag. Oh no that's not quite true, he fought with Stoner for 2 or 3 turns before he gave up. If he can't run away and hide he loses. Will never beat Rossi like that.
The old fast but crash prone Casey is back!!!!! He obviously needs to learn that you can''t win the race in the early laps but you can surely lose it. Is he so afraid to fight with Rossi that he believes he can only win by running away? Just unbelievable, he has come apart like the proverbial cheap watch. He is on the verge of falling into Pedrosa,s grasp!!!!!
Of course he'll keep fighting, it's not over until Rossi has secured the title. But he has to do more than win practice and lose the race like he has done in the last two rounds. Even so, it will take misfortune on Rossi's part for him to get the title now that he virtually threw it away at Brno.
I am glad that after two very frustrating years of inferior motorcyels and tires that Vale has a competitive package. It must have been especially frustrating to lose the title to Nicky Hayden, whose two victories was the lowest winning percentage in the history of the sport and while a sloid rider, is clearly not at Rossi''s level. And again last year to watch Casey just motor away from him with ease. But he was always gracious in defeat and never bad-mouthed the competition. The guy is not only probably the greatest rider of all time, he is also a class act. The upbeat, sunny disposition has endeared him to millions athe world over. Hats off to him, he deserves this 8th championship!
Maybe if Rossi, Lorenzo and Stoner all crash. Last two years in a row Rossi won with a poor performing bike. This year he has the best bike and probably the best package. Pedrosa can''t win close races in MotoGP and the possibility of him running away at Mugello is just about as close to zero as it can be. Rossi will win again, Lorenzo will be the toughest competition.
Two runaway victories for Rossi in a row and the next round is at Mugello, one of his best tracks. The Yamaha is clearly the best bike, the Bridgestone tires are certainly good enough, in any case Vale has clearly figured out how to get the best of them, and his confidence is soaring, could be a long season for the competition although anything could happen. As to the competition, Pedrosa has proven once again that he can''t win close races, either he clears off early or he gets beaten, the Ducati is proving to be almost impossible to ride and Lorenzo is proving to be a very tough, unflappible competitor. Looks like it could be a Rossi/Lorenzo battle for the title.
More lame excuses from Pedrosa. The story is always the same. If he has the pace to make a break early in the race he can win, if not he always loses. He has yet to win a close hard fought race in MotoGP. Rossi, on the other hand is the master under these conditions.
Casey can blame his poor performance on the camera problem if he wants to but the truth is, he was never on the pace in dry practice, qualified poorly and was only 8th fastest in the monday post race test. Actually, he is pretty lucky that Dovizioso and Hayden crashed out, otherwise he would probably have only finished 8th in the race.
