I think Lorenzo has been very arrogant last year in the 250's..and when he came to motoGP he calmed down in that field of his character - coz he is not in a position to be arrogant. There was one 800cc Lorenzoland flag and that was decent if you ask me - coz he was happy and not looking down to other riders.. ..being aware of own capabilities and then taking all the "suffering of the pain sometimes " as he said - from his injury and riding so well to get 4th and be grateful - by saying its like a victory - doesnt look arrogant at all... we will see if he is truly arrogant if he behaves like he did in the 250's - if by any chance he becomes a champ..dont think this year but the years to come
Question to me : when did Marco's ability come close to beating his teammate? Well it just CAME CLOSE in China! which means it is getting closer and closer...and I'll repeat I hope Marco starts passing Flukey soon and becomes regular in that activity.. Also - there is no comparison to Loris last year and Marco - this year in relation to Stoner. Ducati had presented the 2008 bike and changed possibly very little - and you can see the results on Stoner from that. Look how angry he is.. Do you know why? ..well because he has no answer in riding or no answer in mecahnical feedback to the team in how to repeat last years success. When ppl dont know the answer it means they DONT KNOW
Only one ankle is chipped and there is a bit of a difference to a "break". A chip is a bit like a crack in the bone that was followed by a knocked out unsignificant sized piece of bone tissue. other ankle is not like that - but seems to be the source of more severe pain which comes from other important structures of this important joint. In around 12 days for Le Mans - he'll be almost 100% - sorry to disappoint you Tom.
...also think Melandri gained some weight - his backside looked bigger on the seat..probably could lose a little - but again he'll do whatever needs to be done for him...
Melandri - also hope that as the season goes, he'll be a regular Flukey passer - so with a bunch of high class talents - as I said before - Stoner should go back to the middle where he belongs - behind Melandri and probably Dovisiozo as well.. the Ducati crew will lighten up - as they were pretty miserable after the China race having to absorb all the mental heaviness of Stoner's anger..their heads were down, they were all serious and depressed having to try to cheer up a spoilt brat .... ...again.. if Melandri starts doing what he did just now - we can expect some relieved Ducati Crew faces soon...
Funny how a person called "blah-blah" in the "Melandri delighted" topic..said how ALL riders are arrogant and they never blame themselves for losing.. wonder than what did Edwards just do here then? ... in fact - SOME riders are mostly arrogant and SOME are not...
Not the most interesting race this time - but we all know that Rossi is the producer of many of the most interesting fights in the past.
Melandri? - im sure Ducati would love to get a fellow countryman to the top - italian rider on the italian bike sounds perfect..the great stuff about Melandri is that he doesnt blame other stuff happening - which means he learns and hope this is the beginning of the end of his Learning, and that now he'll start applying what he learnt
Lexington..agree with first part, and would think Dani a bit more closer to fight with Rossi than Lorenzo..not because of the L. injury but assuming Lorenzo recovers well and everyone else is good - Dani and Rossi will be the first two runners
had looked at race 2nd time too, like Morgue,.. and first - the Rossi pass on Stoner in the beginning was a high class one - just to kill the 'idea' in the start and that was just so Rossi style - perfect precision... second - pass on Pedrosa was quite intentional and precise - just when planned - meaning there was no other choice for Dani but to have to take it. apart from Melandri's cool pass on Dovi - noticed that he was riding some really tight lines which was quite amazing - somewhere in the middle, about a cpl laps, before Lorenzo passed him. and Lorenzo's passes on Hayden, Dovi and on Edwards were pretty cool too/ close..
