Thomas My point was about if Alan was his father would he call him a choker and loser rather than just say it to someone he does not know or speak to face to face. How we all treat each other is not 'completely irrelevent'.
Alan, I think calling Lewis a choker is a bit harsh, he has won championship's before F1. I feel it was a series of event's that caused Lewis to miss out rather than him choking. C'mon he has had an impressve first season which had some great passing moves and racecraft. Yeah he had the car but since the groundbreaking williams of the early nineties has not everybody contesting a world championship?, you still have to show you can drive on the limit and Lewis showed that more than once.
suzy: I was just saying Michel had enough experience to go with his natural genius that by the time he got into an f1 car he had as good a chance too succeed. Also did'nt Lewis's dad have to take up 2 jobs to finance Lewis so he had the tough times too, but yes mclaren have had a major influence in his development. I think as much as Fernando might have helped Lewis, he also kept his setups to himself once he realised Lewis was as fast if not faster, and we don't know how early this became so. Also i think maybe Lewis starting so strong might have had a negative effect on Fernando.
Suzy: Schumacher had started with karts and had a number of race drives in various series. He drove the Sauber Mercedes sportscar before getting his drive with Jordan. A team at the time not expected to win, Lewis came in to Mclaren, a high pressure place with massive expectations, and a double world champion as his team mate. Micheal is great and hopfully Lewis will be too.
To call Hamilton a loser and a choker is disgracful, if that was the case he would never have made it into f1 in the first place. People say that Hamilton only did well because of the car he was in, but when schummi won his titles he was in a Benneton that was as good as the Williams and his Ferrari was by far the best. When it was'nt he lost the title to Alonso twice. Even when you have the best car you still have to perform, with schuey's greatness and a dominent car he was unbeatable, but as with anyone (Button springs to mind)if you have no car you have no chance. Schumacher is the greatest of all time, if not for his record's, his dedication and ability to turn a dead race into awin
Yup i agree that Honda will be slow this year, but because they start so far behind, i feel that they will catch up faster than the others will pull away over the season. It's always the last half second that's the most difficult. Button will look at the big picture, the wind tunnel configuration was too blame for last year's debacle (not the only team having problem's with their tunnel!!) and probably this year's car too, with the recruitment's they made during last season and then Brawn signing, i think steady progress this year then next season will be more fruitious when the brawn factor on the car really kicks in.
Super Aguri will never be up there whilst they ponce old Honda's that were not fast in the first place. When they are in the position to build and develop their own stuff then they might fight nearer the front. The Toyota engine has been regarded as one of the best for a while and it looks like williams has finally developed a fast car too put the engine in. Red Ball with Ferrari power, maybe Aguri should follow, instead of having a slow car and engine from Honda.
