for a start, the honda race bikes are not factory, they are kitted bikes and are the same spec as hydrex, greg lavillia's wsb (bar the engine). they arrived at louth as completely standard road legal 08 blades and still have a lot of the standard parts.
however the dukes were built at ducati corse, picked up from there on the way to the pre season tests this year.
a sign of the spec of the bikes is simple, the honda's have frame numbers, have v5 docs and could in theory ride them to the circuit, however the ducatis have no such frame number (only their ducati corse build numbers) and were and never will be production!!!
how can you say tom would have won the race, he admitted after the race that his pace was slower than haslams and that he probably would have been caught by shakey.
it wasnt even him who made the protest, it was rizla suzuki who did that, leon will bring it round, maybe its too far for him to win the title but he can act as perfect rear gunner for cal....
