Tex - Perhaps it is the minority that can't see the truth.
Fact - Hayden won 2006 Champioship.
Fact - Pedrosa hasn't.
Fact - Puig didn't win "any" World Championship.
So Hayden only won a couple of races in 2006, as Eddie Lawson used to say "To finish first, first you must finish" .. nver was that more true than in 2006 and Nicky did.
And he won it at a time when it is at it's most competetive too.
As for the tears comment, if you were on target to achieve your dream and some ****** of a team mate took you out denting that dream are you telling me you'd not be emotional !! Naa,i guess you are too hard a man to ever cry .. fool.

Yamapimp - pretty much in agreement here, what about Shakey, on the Duke, that team won races this year so no slouches, you are right regarding Colin with Sykes, also i want to see Ben Spies in MOTOGP as i honestly believe he has that little extra that may make him a winner in the top class.
Yamaha have Rossi, Lorenzo in the main team, Toseland has a year under his belt so no real risk in bringing Spies in i.m.o ... gives Yamaha a good chance to see what he is capable of before Rossi retires...

I'm almost speechless @ Puig' outburst !! As mentioned above he won ONE race, that is **** all is it.
I hope Nicky, who i have to say has been totally honest and professional and even on Sunday @ Phillip Island thanked his team for a great job, kicks the runt and his riders ass next season and although i've gone off Dovi a little lately for his whingeing about JT's overtakes i hope he kicks Puig and Pedrosa's butt too....

Aah, now that is a different thing, doing well in BSB next season is a possibility and i feel he may do well, on a decent bike.
BUT, WSB, not so sure myself, of the Brits going there next season i see Shakey, Rea and possibly Sykes doing well, i'm not convinced with Leon still,i don't know why and i'd love to be proven wrong, but i don't think JE would be a front runner in that series either, top 6 to 10 possibly on the right bike.
On another note, how do you take the news that Colin Edwards may be punted over to WSB and Spies come over to MOTOGP ..imo it makes sense as 2 rookies on the new R1 is a big ask ref development and that is one thing Colin is good at !

Yamapimp .. sorry, bit harsh on you there, however James' team mate this year has also been hot and cold, it may be the team!
In MOTOGP he was on a Yam on Dunlops in the year the Yam was not great and as for the Dunlops .. say no more !!
Last year in AMA he wasn't even on a top Honda in a championship dominated by Yoshi Suzuki
I reckon personally he'd give a good account of himself on a better bike, if he get's the chance let's see then 'eh, you may of course be proven to be spot on.
Now the top 4 or 5 riders in BSB are off elsewhere best chance of any in 2009 that's for sure.

Rips - Ellison has signed for which Yamaha team then ?
As Rob Mac has Guy Martin and Karl Harris, is Ellison on the GSE one ?

P.S Yamapimp, you are clueless !

Tex - Toseland has done just fine this season, let's wait and see how he performs next year before slating him 'eh !!
Some of you are so quick to judge, sadly some of those have little understanding of racing.....

Raw Dawg - The speed of Rossi down the straight was a mix of draught and getting fabulous drive out of the last corner, his tyres were hooking up far better than the Tech 3 Michelins... there ain't that much difference speed wise with the 4 Yams.
See the MOTOGP website for race top speeds ... absolutely **** all in it matey.

How about - I = he personally was happy with the morning session and then "We are a bit slow in the wet" ... so the team weren't happy with the whole set up which meant they were a little slower than they wanted in the wet conditions ?
Conspiracy theory my ****, you only read it one way not from both sides !

Rossi this season was awesome, it has been brilliant to watch, he won this championship @ Laguna Seca imo !!
I rate Stoner, he is fast and wrings the neck of the Ducati, he is young and needs to know when to say things, for instance he said pre race that he missed out on pole position ( or at least a decent hit at it ) as just as he started his fast lap on his second qualifier he had a big bug hit his visor and he couldn't remove the tear off for some reason! No wonder he get's stick sometimes, It's a shame as he is a bloody good, fast rider but like Wayne Gardner he always has an excuse.
Gladly Doohan was not like that.

Yawn, aye , the Honda isn't competitive this season, no wins in WSB, no Wins in BSB ??? Oh hang on a minute, surely not !!
Also, your thoughts on the Honda being ALL NEW this season, like the 1098 then ?
Leon doesn't have it, a good racer, not a champion though.
