We wont know until tomorrow if it was his best qualifying or not. If LH is heavier than the immediate people behind him then there may be some argument there. I just hope Kimi does not do anything stupid in the 1st turn.
THE FIA HAVE STOLEN THE VICTORY FROM LEWIS HAMILTON. HE WAS ACCUSED OF HAVING GAINED AN ADVANTAGE AFTER BEING FORCED OFF THE TRACK BY KIMI. THE FIA IS A COMPLETE JOKE AND HAVE BEEN BIASED TOWARDS FERRARI FOR YEARS. THIS TIME AROUND THEY HAVE SABOTAGED THE RACING AND CREATED A FARSE. THEY CONSTRUCTED THE TITLES FOR FERRARI LAST YEAR AND NOW THEY ARE ON THEIR WAY TO DOING IT AGAIN. THIS IS THE WORST DECISION I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MOTORSPORT. I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING QUITTING MY SUPPORT... THIS IS A JOKE.
Why does it seem that Australian riders usually shine in the wet. I read a post about dirt track experience but is it really down to that?
I hope Hayden will be able to save his rear tire tomorrow. If he can I think this bike may match his more aggressive style more. Pedrosa, I feel, is a faster rider than Nicky but the results this year I feel do not truely represent Haydens pace. Good job for Spies too, I hope he brings the bike home in a decent position.
Hayden definitely needs the results. I think he is taking one for the team and at the same time possibly saving his seat with Honda. His style matches WSB more than it does MotoGP, so adapting is tough. He said the motor is more aggressive which I understand as it delivers power more aggressively which could lead to tire wear issues. Nicky though seems to prefer the power and the ability to slide the bike around. This might just be what he needs as long as he can save the tires.
Great to see him do well in his first outing. In the US he definitely has the best bike but so does his teammate and right now he has the upper hand on him. Besides his skill I think his tenacity is his strongest asset. The battel between him and his teammate is very close and there were times I think many would have been broken instead he put his head down and pulled out wins where it seemed hopeless.
"Obviously Robert has gained a lot of experience," the German underlined, praising his young charge's contribution to the development process that helped BMW to overcome its initial testing woes back at the start of the year. "I think especially this winter, when we brought the new car onto the track, it was very important that we relied on and got very exact feedback to develop the car, because when it comes to balance issues, it's not always so easy to see it in the wind tunnel or on the data.
This paragraph says a lot about the worth of F1 drivers. For the team to make these statements about him shows they believe he is top of the top.
