WSBK has never been a cheap sport. I'll always remember the year I got to go behind the pits @ Phillip Island I can't remember how many years ago but I think it was when Colin Edwards & Craffer where riding the 2 Cylinder Honda's. There was no part on the bike STD, everything was light weight & each side of the exhaust system was worth 25000 Pounds (Around $50000 US at the time.) So if they where spending close to $100000US on exhaust back then I can't see Electronic Shocks being to much of a stretch for most Top Teams. I also got to meet Mr 111 himself also.. Aron Slight.
WSBK Racing is healthy with the current rules & next year will be even better.. Can't say the same for MotoGP

I'm so glad there are so many EX World champions here to give there un bias options.
I didn't know till today that it was so easy to ride a bike with a broken wrist.
I'm guessing all of you have never had time off work due to being sick let alone a broken bone. Next you will be telling me it's easier to ride with a broken wrist as it helps you...
Pifffffffff you lot are so one eyed here, it's kind of sad in away...

Jacko..each to there own I guess...
But please tell me what the difference will be?
I mean... Before SuperPole they are all out on track turning laps.
That is normally the time when you are at the track that you line up for Hotdogs & Chips...

For me the most exciting time of Warm up is at the end when the riders go around track popping wheelies. There will be less interest in seeing a knock out WARM UP SEASON for me then being able to watch a single rider on track hanging it out to get that one perfect lap in. I have to admit SuperPoll is great on TV & maybe a bit less of an event at the track. But I for one have enjoyed it both live at track & the other 13 Times on TV..

Personally I hate the idea of changing Superpole.
It has always been the highlight of any of my Phillip Island events to see SP.
To me this has taken away a large amount of the skill of these fine riders.
Anybody can put a fast lap in when they are not under pressure to do so.
To be able to do it on a single lap is a risk that rewards the brave-.

Why does he feel the need to say this? Every time TB doesn''t get pole it''s due to an error. He is a great rider on the best bike so I can''t see the benefit of his comments.

To me he should have just said well done TC I''m looking forward to the race...

Have you even watched a WSBK race "Binza"? While Corser/Yamaha combo hasn't been fantastic at the start of this year. Corser has been on it at the last 2 rounds & the last race Corser/Haga did a Stoner.
The Ducks are going to be hard to beat at this track & I believe they should be limited (Like in BSB.) but don't count Corser out. He is looking great on the Yamaha & maybe able to take the fight to them.

Haga will go from 14th to 5th by the 1st corner... lol

Well done Corser, Mr Superpole does it again. Lets just hope he can get that 1st win on that Yamaha.

It's going to be interesting to see how other teams manage to fight back when you look at what happened to the new Honda. Yamaha had the same issue with there air valve engine when it was first introduced, if it didn't blow up it ran out of fuel.

Nicky had the measure of Danny with the new bike, so lets hope they just under filled Nicky's bike & where not running it at maximum allowed fuel. If Danny gets the new bike/engine working for him he maybe able to run with Stoner. Rossi IMO is going to have to over ride the Yamaha, which is going to force him into more rider errors, the same as last year. The Yamaha is clearly the 4th best bike on the grid ATM. It is no longer the best out there

Got to love some reporters...
When one of them asked Stoner if the improvements to his bike where all down to Sete Gibernau testing for him.... Good one..lol Wasn't he slower then Marco Melandri?

Great job Stoner on a bike nobody else seems to be able to ride.
