What the heck happened to Glock!!!!!!!!! What was the reason for him to give up two places????? It looked like an absolute set up.Hamilton was gifted this championsip at the lat race thats a fact. He had no answer to Timo. The limp reason of the rain on the last lap is pants, Timo looked like he pulled over. Pantomime.
Maybe its just individual talent, maybe its the engineers in the team having the abilty to understand how to get the best from something. Rossi opted for the same tyres as Casey as these were winning tyres and both he and Burgess have made the bike work with them. Its up to the rider and team to get the best from whats available. If the sattelite bikes are the same then its riders and engineers that are to blame. With a control tyre this will become obvious.
Its unclear at the moment if Suzuki will keep the Rizla backing for 2009. If they lose Rizla cash then I fear the worst and that also may explain why they could not put out a third bike. It baffles me why they have 3 bikes in WSBK. They must sell a few Gixxers in the states due to Spies and Mladin but I dont think the sales compare to Ducati 1098's. Suzuki (cars, vans, plant and loads more)are bigger than Ducati but the "corperate" do not spend anything like what Ducati do on racing.Without a big sponsor its like urinating into a strong wind. To see what Ducati would be like without Malboro money you only have to look at the Alice team. You need top money to get top riders and electronics.
doG, dont be too hard on Dorna they have not finished meddling yet. It will soon intruduce a control ECU to limit revs, take some more fuel out of tank capacity, intoduce treaded tyres, latin passport holders only,oh and to finish off it will be pay per view. The new (faster)600 class will be free to watch on telivision X 2 weeks after the event.
Malboro Ducati have gone all year with just one rider.Melandri was consistant to the last race by being at the back of the grid so is Hayden's performance really important??? Stoners scaphoid op is more critical to them. Ducati signing Nicky is more of finance than racing. An American flag on a Ducati fairing will sell loads of gear over there.I want Nicky to go well and beat Dani and the guy will work his ass off trying. Does MotoGP with Honda,Yamaha,Ducati,Suzuki,Aprilia,Kawasaki and BMW having factory teams in WSBK stand a chance, even Rossi says the racing is better and for us fans its on Eurosport, good going Dorna, well done.
Espelata et al is ruining the sport. Look at the recent changes to MotoGP like the 800cc bikes, reduction to in fuel, no more Eurosport coverage, the change now to a single tyre supplier and the demise of the 250cc class. Rossi is right and I for one look forward to WSBK and BSB next year to watch RACING and not the time trial championship. I believe MotoGP will be watched less and less. No one in Dorna listens to the fans. Flamini has robbed us of the Brands round after asking twice as much as last year (£15 increase in gate price)so theres another example of greed over racing.
You get what you pay for. Vermuelan, good superbike rider. Capirossi top rider a few years ago. The bike is the slowest, no engine developement, the bike cant get power down in big corners, lack of chassis developement. As I said before perhaps Suzuki are happy just to be in MotoGP. If they wanted to be World champs they would have to pull out the full factory teams of AMA,BSB and perhaps WSBK. They simply have not got the resources. They like Kwak cant even feild a third bike unlike Honda and Yam that says it all.
Suzuki's race dept is tiny even compared to Ducati's so they do ok and their expectations are obviously mid pack with good PR,they even sponsor MotoGP on Eurosport (well thats finished now). The fault with the Suzuki MotoGP team is a big name rider. Shwantz and Roberts JR are the biggest talents they have had in recent times and both delivered. Forget Spies he a money chaser like Hopper, Suzuki should get hold of Simoncelli or Bautista fast.
How can Bordais be penalised when everyone said he had done nothing wrong? What was the explanation by the stewards? Brundle and Blundell seemed to suggest that Massa would possibly be penalised as he ran into Bordais from the side but as he had lost ground there would be no action.Bordais simply came out of the pits. I cant believe Bordais got done over for doing nothing wrong. Its an absolute disgrace. When is this crap going to end.
Its such a shame that Puig spits this rubbish out. He has put a lot into the sport to bring through young talnet and was respected as a hard rider even after his injury. Its also ironic he does this so soon after Hayden whoops Dani's **** after they switch tyres. He's pi**ed off for sure but this drivel makes most people want Hayden to whoop ass. Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo and Dovi will kick Dani's butt next year and Puig will look even more of a slapped **** than he does on the pit wall. Shame on you .
Absolute rubbish, Elias and Giuntoli should stay. Canepa should get Fabrizio's ride in Superbike then go MGP. Kalio should not go up into MGP before Bautista or Simoncelli fact.
Pedrosa will never win the MGP title. There is only a few tracks his body weight is an advantage. Rossi and Yamaha have sorted the bike and qualifying out to compete with Stoner not Pedrosa. Rossi knows if Stoner gets away he's gonna be hard to be beat but Dani blows hot/cold. I really hope Hayden can pull it together next year on the Duc because I for one want him to show how good he really is and serve Puch some humble pie. Who gonna win next year?
Dark horse is Kyonari, he has done more than Checa recently and far more than Sofu all year. I really will be rooting for Sykes bt he is on BSB machinery so will show well early then the regulars will push past. I sat and watched nothing for 30 minutes today due to rain so it was hardly a thriller. Come on Sykes !!!
