Suppo said Stoner is likely to undergo surgery eventually, and the Italian claimed his rider was in a lot of pain during the Indianapolis Grand Prix last weekend. Suppo has not ruled out the possibility of Stoner sitting out some of the remaining four races of the season in order to have surgery and be ready for winter testing.
"Casey keeps quiet because he doesn't want to be labeled a whiner, but I can reveal that, besides the problem with the hand, he had great pains in his shoulder and ribs from Friday's crash," Suppo was quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport. "We got checked by several doctors and the common prognosis is that it's the old fracture from 2003 opening up again."If the pain remains tolerable, then Stoner will complete the season, otherwise..."
Nicky says he respects soon-to-be teammate Casey Stoner. "I always got on quite good with Casey. We come from a similar background in that we're from outside Europe. He's so honest and open and says exactly what he's thinking and I respect that. He's not here to be cool or whatever, he's here to do his job and I like that."
Hayden has had an increasingly fractious relationship with Pedrosa, and Dovizioso admitted that he is expecting similar problems when he is paired with the Spaniard.
"Yes, I think they'll try that in every way," Dovizioso replied when asked if he thought Pedrosa and manager Alberto Puig would make his life 'difficult'.
"No-one knows Pedrosa, in my opinion. He doesn't want to be known, he wants to live MotoGP in a different way compared to the others. That's the way he is.
"I don't think anything will change, but we'll see. I'd like to get to know him..."
If they are like that... ... it'll be difficult to be in that stall!
..."I'm not worried about what happened and I'll fight right until the end," he insisted, "The points will be counted at the end of the season, and there are still five races to go. My actual position is not ideal but, as I've said many times, I'm not someone who gives up easily...
"We'll give it all to win, for the team and for the fans. I've got nothing to lose, so I'll give it all, going flat out."
Those words fits like a glove to situation in MotoGP.
Have you seen those last laps from Kimi's Ferrari? Go to youtube and see. It tells lot about that situation there... He was also not so lucky... example other slow drivers surfing there...
The points will be counted at the end of the season, and there are still five races to go. Stoner's actual position is not ideal but, as said many times, Stoner is not someone who gives up easily.
