Alonso heads pack on day three.

Sort Comments:

Alonso heads pack on day three.

Fernando Alonso posted the quickest time as the Formula 1 group test continued into a third day at the Catalunya circuit near Barcelona.

Good to see Mclaren and Shamilton strugling! I bet with anybody that Shamilton won't win the Spanish GP! Not so fast now are they now Alonso's not there to set up the car!
Kimi will walk this race unless Massa has something to say about it!

With a name like tealeaf I suggest you go and steal some brain cells. You cant read into testing times. You just need to moan about the great talent Lewis at any chance you get. I think you are really afraid of him doing fantastic things in the sport.

And so the quality of crash comments continues to fall. You can only hope that the posters on here go away when school restarts,

Jack, this is exactly what th media are looking for. Controversy over Hamilton. ANd may i say he s oribably (him or his entourage) promoted this to a certain extent too.

Well the personal atacks have been reported, anyway back to how the Spanish GP will go: If Renault has increased its pace by about 1sec as reported then he could give the Mclarens a big headache, and as Webber was saying earlier in the season "this could get nasty" between Alonso and Shamilton.

Back to my first post, thanks for the people who agreed with me and also thanks to the people disagreeing with the following personal attacks from 'loeb' and 'come on lewis', whats interesting is a few people still thinks Shamilton could win the Spanish GP on pure pace, don't make me laugh, that loser will just tangle with Alonso again lol lol. Kimi will win the race, Kimi will win the title.

tealeaf, both loeb and "come on lewis" were posted at the same time so probably the same person. crash do not seem to act on complaints about personal attacks. re renault, have you seen the photo on autosport site. the car is just plain ugly. this dorsal fin must hinder sideways vision when cars running three abreast. i wonder if there is any way these could be banned, as per bmw horns last year.

Tealeaf

You obviously can't differentiate between personal attack and comment. My comment applied to both you and the posters who replied to you.

As virtually all the comments you post are vitriolic attacks on Hamilton, who you can't find it in yourself to write his name correctly, you are both repetitive and dull. I do sincerely hope you are just a schoolboy who will disappear at the start of the new term. If you are not then that is a shame for you.

even if this is what the media want (which I agree with to a point) I wish there were more intelligent comments than managed here. The likes of Tealeaf, ric hard, loeb etc can't seem to enter sensible debate.

This is getting silly! Although I so agree with Tealeaf on certain things (Hamilton) I do want a stop to all the personal attacks and lets debate everything with facts.

I'm sure a few of the F1 people do read these posts from time to time and at the moment theres no good points been raised.

Back to testing now. I agree with Rich ard that these aero parts on the cars are getting beyond a joke now and look so ugly it's unreal please ban all these parts so we can have clean looking cars of the early 2000's. Also I'm impressed by the pace of Honda, they have been getter than expected.

Different day, same dull comments about Hamilton, Alonso et al. Please can we change the record!? I've pretty much stopped using Crash as a forum because of all the inaccuracies, back-biting and needlessly vicious attacks on people (not just drivers)that descends into arguments rather than discussion. I'm stunned because this doesn't occur on any other forums I visit, where the atmosphere is so much more constructive.

Snoopy - people obviously have very strong feelings for their drivers and against their rivals. It has been almost two weeks since the last Grand Prix so there is not much in the news to comment on. This leads to people winding each other up to keep some form of debate going.

How constructive of a discussion can really be had about test times anyway? As observers we really don't have enough info to make much of these tests.

I hope you come back when there is a topic that warrants a good discussion. Hopefully if enough posters set the bar high enough it will raise everyone's game.

Seems to me there are a gang of anti-LH posters who are bringing this comments section into a farce. Although they are not the only destructive posters, they are at the heart of virtually all the 'stupid' arguments.

Maybe we need a crash flame posting area where these people can enjoy themselves on their own?

Snoopy, the reason that these sort of comments dont make it onto other forums is becase registration isnt compulsory. If you had to register, it would stop half of these idiots from coming on, because they would rather spend the 40 seconds it takes to register googling Lewis Hamilton trying to find some dirt.
