Rossi hoping it all comes together.

Valentino Rossi is confident that his relationship with Bridgestone tyres is now ready to see him join Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa on the 2008 MotoGP winners' list.

This is going to be interesting. Vale only lost last year due to the lack of horsepower from the Yamaha. This year they have closed the gap to Caseys' Ducati. Historically a Bridgestone track but the Michelins appeared to work well here last year (in a generally poor year for them). The two championship leaders are on Michelins and on top form (Jorge on the same bike as Vale). Stoner (on Bridgestones) won last year and needs to do the same again this year.

This one is to close to call. Looking forward to Friday.

Does anyone know what the weather forcast is for China?

how about Ant West allowing a chance to make wild card appearances in WSS for Gill Kawasaki for atleast 2 occasion? Should be interesting though. I think his riding style suits 600s. Please comment on this.

How about Ant west been given a chance to ride as a wild card to at least 2 or 3 occasions in WSS this year for Gill Kawasaki? I think it will be interesting though as his riding style suits the 600s. Please comment.

So he thinks he has everthing but just needs a tyre to beat michilen. I f doesnt win in China it wont be tyre issue it will be bike and or a rider issue.....give me a break.
Guess what Vale, your the master off all your mistakes and bad decisions, now you have another one to bite you on the a8se.

Ace27 - Get a grip - "Where does Rossi get off?"
Well he does have 5 top class championships, and I guess you don't get those by just sitting back and coping with whatever tyre or bike or engine you're given. Sure, if he's made bad decisions, they're his. What about Stoner in Jerez or Estoril. Not like it's plain sailing for him either.

I think Rossi will need more than the tyres to work going by the last race, as his tyres (and times) were going off while Stoners bike was going quicker towards the end.
So for some reasons VR bike was using "more" of his tyres and they were pretty shot after the race.
I think the top 3 makes are all pretty close in top speeds this year.
If JL wins China he will be favourite to win the championship (IMO)
unless it rains.

ace, keep spitting that crap, but that doesnt change the fact tyhat
rossi is the highest paid roder by a mile, mos t popular, winningest racer, best bike developer, champ in 4 different categories, and already included within the top 5 riders in hiostory my people like doohan, nieto, agostini ...

rossi came third in 2007 and second in 2006, that s something no one s done on a bd year and lesser machinery ...

having said that, the stereotyping and bashing of the aussie people here is getting old ... cut that crap

I guess it is only in B'stones own interest to provide their top-riders with the tyres they need to win the championship.

They don't wouldn't want to loose Rossi next year to Michelin I guess. They better make sure they are in "world champion ship form" in China, Michelin will be for sure

Rossi
