Grant was among many riders that contacted team owner Robin Croft after the news that injuries sustained by Jenkinson in his 140mph Thruxton crash would keep him out of the championship for at least two rounds.

The team were fully informed about assen,as they were about the ride at thruxston at the last round . Both parties are fully aware of what is going on.just seems like the web man isn't.I spoke to my friend who is a mechanic for them and grants bike never came out the trailer

Hi, yes Team SC Triumph were fully informed of my intentions. It was a mutual decision on both parties, i hope all the best the Team SC Triumph and as it has been said my bike never left the truck which states i told the team. Thanks Tom Grant
