You are a nice guy Lewis......just keep being yourself and listen to Ron and your greatest mentor of all your Dad, and I dont think you will go far wrong. If you retired tomorrow you have accomplished a lot more than most.......keep up the great work.

Hmmm, I take issue with this whole "kindergarten to university" BS. He's in his second season in f1 after completing a season in gp2 two years previously and had his entire career mapped out in front of him. He has had very few large jumps between series and was guided along the path of least resistance. Maybe we're now seeing once again that you need more than just driving talent to do well in f1. People seem to assume that Lewis woke up one morning, put on a helmet and won a bunch of races. I suppose it's time for people to start making excuses though.

The fact that he is in the car he is in is because he has had a life time coach in mclaren. Nothing wrong with that and no other driver would turn it down, but like dead ed said he didnt wake up one day and start winning races. Ron saw the potential in him and other factors about him that made him rare and good media potential(i remember him as a kid in the sun paper-saying he was gonna be the first black f1 driver), so put all the money and coaching behind him.

Hence the result we have now. And good on them, should be done for more drivers and riders in future

Alonso had similar help with renualt being thier test driver for a year, tho over much shorter scale

i remember last year towards the end of the championship JS remarked that lewis had a cleverer or was it cooler head on him then kimi and alonso. now all of a sudden he has a poorish race and he needs a coach. is there ever going to be a bandwagon JS isnt going to jump on to. im no hamilton fan and can see JS's point somewhat, but the guy makes irrelevant nonsensical comments almost every time ITV waste my time by interviewing him, world champion or not.

Did'nt they have a driver coach for Lewis last year? Fernando something-or-other I think it was... cant quite remember. Oh well, I think they ran that bloke off.

JS changes directions faster than Pacman. He sees which way the wind is blowing and sets sail up accordingly. The guy has no convictions, and is trying to get face time in his sunset years. F1 gains nothing from this idiot, and in my opinion, he has no business being anywhere near a racetrack. Stupid git.
I'm no Hamilton fan, but JS just annoys me. The guy may have been a great racer once upon a time, but if he keeps this up people are going to start thinking he's senile very, very soon.

Probably the only thing Mosley ever got right was when he called JS a "certified halfwit".
