Webber: The worst place to go off.

Webber: The worst place to go off.

Mark Webber has branded the corner where Heikki Kovalainen crashed during the Spanish Grand Prix as the worst possible place to have an accident at the Circuit de Catalunya.

Probably the most interesting part of Webbers column was where he was explaining his Le Mans accidents where the car flipped on two seperate occasions. The photos of the car flying above the other cars is quite amazing. Might explain why he has so much bad luck in F1 after walking away from those two accidents, I think he may have used up all his luck in one race meeting.

didnt see webers column and cant recall his accidents at le mans. however the cars that race in le mans are totally different and would react differently.presumably they flipped due to air getting under the car. dont forget dumfries,s accident, this was spectacular, dangerous but didnt put him off. maybe, if weber has a fear of crashing, then this might explain his lack of positive results. no drive!

whatever you say about webber.. love him or hate him at least he is trying to keep safety in F1 by turning up to the driver briefings etc.. which is more than i can say for raikkonen, hamilton..

richard: look webbers crash up on youtube... its most likely a bigger / more serious crash than what your imagining.

as a webber fan myself, im pretty sure he actually took legal action to be released from mecedes young driver program... which prob damaged his chances of getting into F1 at the time, but hey he made it - but just not into a top team

RICH ARD you are full of it. All the drivers have a fear of crashing. I don't think they go out on the track and say "well I hope to have high speed crash in todays race" what a load of C R A P. You obviously don't follow motorsport seriously if you are unaware of Webbers crash at Le Mans. Take Andrew Pros advice and have a look at it on you tube. Then shove your boot in your mouth!
RYAN you are spot on with your comments. Webber thinks more about his team and the sport than himself unlike some of the other racers.
I think the fact that he has analysed the track and to understand what actually happened to Heikki makes him more than your average knuckle head racing driver.
