Gow: Donington always provides action.

HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship boss Alan Gow has predicted that Donington Park this weekend could be one of the most action-packed rounds of the 2008 campaign.

BTCC seems to be going from strength to strength under the S2000 rules and Donington is a brilliant place to watch. It was a great series from 96-99 until the costs spiralled out of control. I hope we see more manufacturers coming back in as the days when 9 manufacturers' cars were on the grid were spectacular.

I remember being at the Mansell race and being soaked to the bone but it was an epic! It was amazing to see 'our nige' battling for the lead. The crowd was cheering like he'd won when he took the lead and sat behind the pace car. Really wish he'd done it but fair play to Cleland he was a crafty devil at the chicane.

Mcleans is the place to watch as you can see them come down the craners, up to mcleans and down the back straight if you get the right spot, just a shame I can't make it!
