Benson's world championship experience began in 1994 as Niall MacKenzie's mechanic at Yamaha, before making the jump to Superbikes with Honda.

Although he didn't say anything we didn't know already at least to a certain degree, he certainly put credit to some things we could only speculate upon. It's nice to see such interviews from people from the inside. It offers good insight. We want more of this Crash.net

Great article, but I think you'll find he is a full-blown Kiwi. The aussies claim enough of ours as their own, we don't need another one :-)

It would be good if this fellow had the same will to win as the two riders he rates as the best. But then, he's just a parts fitter, isn't he?
