Jordan Rally hailed a classic.

Jordan Rally hailed a classic.

The inaugural WRC event in Jordan last weekend has been deemed a success by those in the sport with BP Ford Abu Dhabi team director Malcolm Wilson amongst those to give it a very positive review.

1 people agree.  3 people disagree.

I have to say that this was by far one of the most boaring rallies to watch and I really hope they do not keep it, there is just nothing to look at, it is very unspectacular to watch cars driving over a desert. Im sure everything did a great job and the drivers ofcourse 'have' to say they liked it to avoid confrontation but really it was just hot, and indifferent.

Do ya know what. I couldnt agree more. I recorded the footage and watched it later and i fast forwarded most of it as it was so boring. just sand, sand and then more sand. but being the kind of people the FIA are, im sure it will be run twice a year and not every other year like the current system. Im sure there is a big backhander in it from the oil tycoons.

I dont understand why the WRC comes to Jordan. The rally is nothing of the others world and the security is too much. I dont like the guns. and no people at toll. Why raciung in this country, and not in Portugal, or Australia.

I dont understand why race in Jordania. No interesting a toll, (if you dont rent a car in the area), and no people, and the market is very confidential. The FIA Marshalls, in is 5 star hotels, are very pleasants, but the constructors asked why racing here?
