rossi haters said he was finished, said he'd made a mistake swapping to bridgestone, said he couldnt beat stoner.

yet again, he's made most of em look stupid, fastest lap on 18 of 22

and 16 seconds ahead of stoner.

Other than rossi's awesome display, lorenzo has won a massive amount of respect, to come 4th and fight like he did, feeling like he must do is just amazing!

So erm...rossi haters...what you gonna be running on about now?

good race from pedro and stoner shouldnt be too peeved yes, he's lost ground, but it could have been a lot worse.

I'm not sure about stoner's comments on the tyre...rossi had the same compound on and he didnt have a problem with it...i think stoner is trying a little bit of, blame everyone but urself.

Incredible race! Great to watch and fantastic result for Vale. He said "I ride like a devil" and must be feeling mighty relieved to be back on the top step. What about the speeds these bikes are doing? Rossi broke the lap record and many bikes were doing well over 210. No doubt in my mind - Rossi is the best rider out there

Rossi rode very good, like his old him. It could have been even more exciting if Dani/Honda had a stronger engine!

This year 4 guys are on a class of their own. i include Casey as he s the champ, but Ducati need to up their game if he wants to have a go at the title, cos Rossi s tyres will improve as the yaear unfolds, and Honda will have a faster engine. Lorenzo, Rossi and Dani are so far ahead of the rest it s not funny. And Honda will improve once they dort out their pneu valve engine

As for the rest, there are a couple riders that need to go somewhere else, one in kawa one in Suzuki. Ducati seem to have improved results wise, we ll see, Melandri 5th and Elias 8th.

before we do get too carried away...it was a bridgestone track, but still, it was an awesome display from rossi, was like watching the rossi of old...

also, yamaha seem to have built a fantastic bike this season, 339k's in the tow of pedro...mind u, stoner still managed 343k's on his own! obviously the engine's loving the cooler air, but 343! bloody hell!

Rossi seems to have been given what he wanted after valencia last season, its taken a little time to get it working 100% but today was awesome, constant laps in the 1.59's, so much for the commentator's saying pedrosa was in control and had something up his sleeve.

Just...BRILLIANT!

Rossi is BACK! Thought Pedrosa had the measure of him for a while, but setting the lap record on lap 18 is awesome and shows Rossi's class. Stoner was really unhappy with third wasn't he?

it's clear to see this season he's just gettin better and better...

races results have improved and so has qualifying performance...please dont start blaming honda's engine because it seemed to be doing ok for dovi in a straight line...

if pedrosa even bothered to try and stay in the draft, he might have been a bit closer...

rossi broke pedrosa on the twisty bits, just like he does most people...you saw how he was all over the back of stoner last season until the straight...

i think now, rossi and the package have things sorted, stoner will struggle to beat him anywhere now.

I just wanted to say to all you haters out there that Rossi is the G.O.A.T. and for that individual that said that Rossi would not win one race this year, do you want sauce with that crow that your eating? Rossi 46

today the race is really very wonderful, he deserves this champion.
p.s. In order to watch this race in starsports, I even haven't had anything from morning (now here is 16:00), hehe, but great, he wins in my hometowm!!!

I think this confirms that the raw speed advantage that Ducati once had over its rivals has diminished considering that the Chinese circuit has the longest straight in the MotoGP calendar!

I thought you guys said Rossi was over !! Come on guys I rely on you for my updates on who's fast and who's not. After all I just ride a normal road bike and you guys, well reading all your comments the last few weeks obviously know how to ride one of these machines to the max !
