PICTURES: Haslam takes out Sykes.

Sykes had dominated the race up to that point, but came under increasing pressure from Haslam and his HM Plant Honda team-mate Cal Crutchlow.

HASLAM SHOULD BE GIVEN A RACE BAN HE IS AN IDIOT!!!!!!

He's certainly been erratic these last two meetings.
Sykes seems like a magnet for Leon getting it wrong.
In fairness he's not usually such a muppet.

Really?
I seem to recall Haslam doing this sort of thing quite often - even to his team-mate Lavilla a couple of seasons ago at Cadwell, when Lavilla was on for the title.

I think the desperation of having a team-mate running consistently faster so far this season is starting to show for Leon.
Hope he gets excluded after the protest for that little move!

yeah, i think he has a problem when his team mates are beating him although by the looks of cal in the second race he could be doubtful next weekend

He has been excluded, BSB is going to turn out like WSB, one guy pulling a huge championship lead early on because everyone else is throwing it down the road.

Once under pressure Haslam always crumbles, even poor old Ron looked embarrased at his sons latest effort.

He's always had top kit and top excuses when it goes wrong, surely he must realise this year is his last chance in the big league unless he gets results.

Maybe he would benifit from a few more days at Dad Ron's race school.

I'm surprised Suzuki haven't lodged a complaint

You can hardly say its like WSBK Tom - The antics some of their riders get away with is incredible - Checa on Neukirchener was worse than Haslam on Sykes.

I meant the points situation, not the incidents.

The overtake was dangerous and Haslam was totally unprofessional in his conduct. He had tried on a number of occasions to pass Sykes but didn't have what it took.

yer ok so suddenly your havin a go at haslam but cant you rember the 1st round sykes riding stupid and hittin haslam making his own bike go into harris' face and then also the same day forcing crutchlow off the track haslam is only being a normal rider and trying to get as many points as he can

Obviously all you ladies bitching about Haslam have ever raced a Superbike at British Championship level. If this malarky carries on the ****heads running the sport will be disqualifying riders at every meeting. Where do you think the saying "Thats racing" comes from. Get over it !!!!!! Sykes is a hard rider just like the rest of the top 10 and I dont think you should be punished for a mistake ! Capirossi on Harada a few years was not a mistake and his team sacked him for it even though the gimp won the championship. Go Leon ! Dont let them make you wear a skirt !

Dani,
I dont think that it was Sykes that was running stupid at the first round... the incident with Harris came from Haslams erratic riding yet again: you could see that there was going to be an incident for the couple of laps leading up to the crash.
For some reason Leon seems to be the golden child of the BSB and is living on his fathers well earned rep: to me he's had everything handed on a plate and is not deserving of the level of rides hes been given.
Furthermore, for Tony Carter to try and force an interview on Eurosport was wrong: you could see Tom seething yet he conducted himself in a gentlemanly manner, whilst Leon spat the dummy and tried to shrug it off.
Leons a Liability.

Dani Dul, as Dangerboy says, the two times Has & Syk have come together its been Has's riding thats started the probs.... sort your eye-sight out. Haslam has robbed Sykes of good points so far, this might continue until Sykes dose something about it in a dark alyway.

If Sykes is a man and no t a weak ass rider he should, as hard as it is, focus on the job and forget aboiout haslam. He ll only come out stronger if he cn put this aside and ride on.
Haslam on the other hand seems just cant face the fact that he chaneged teams the wrong year. hm dont have the tyre advantage anymore and haslam seems to be in for another miss at the title.
