At last someone with sensible and realistic comment. Alan Jones always was a good, straight-talking bloke.

If a married man in a high position engages 5 prostitutes to play a German prison camp scene in which he pretends to be a guard beating women prisoners, he is recklessly exposing himself to having his perverted fantasies publicly exposed by blackmail or a sale to a tabloid. Mosley got caught with his pants down due to sheer arrogance and poor judgment. He continues to show his arrogance, poor judgment and love of power by not resigning after being exposed to be a sick pervert. Having a person who has been exposed as having fantasies of beating and torturing captive women presiding over the body which protects the image of F1 is sheer madness. Why Alan Jones can't see that beats me.

Funny, I always thought buying sex was illegal.

Oh... I'm sorry... So I guess that if a single man (or woman) in a low or non-public position/job does this, it's ok... I am not agreeing with what MM did... I just don't think it's my business...

hello FrankG, if a person in a "low" position or job behaved the way mm did and was filmed it would be just as offensive to most of those "lowly" people...but in a smaller way, we are talking about the global president of the FIA,and it is offensive in a big way....
Thumbs down... so it's not illegal in the UK then?

It wasn't anyone business until it came out on tape. It's PUBLIC knowledge now and that is a cause for debate. If this is his true persona then it is time for some new leadership. He can go back to doing his thing with the *****s and leave F1 for the good of the series. The man has NO morals. Is that who needs to be running the ship?

Hmailtron: It is not illegal to pay for sex in the UK or in most other countries.
robert: What on earth is wrong with a bunch of adults doing something they all enjoy in private and not inconveniencing anyone else? What is "immoral" about that?
The only immoral act was the News of the World paying a woman to secretly film people (including her own friends) without their knowledge. Makes you wonder what sort of people buy the paper - voyeurs presumably.
If you don't like what Mosley does in F1 by all means say so, but don't muddle this up with morality or your views on sex.

Observer... Nothing wrong with adults doing anything they enjoy in life. Unless your married for one. I realize that Mosley has been doing this for years. Heck he has probally dropped by your house a time of two when you were away. His lack of common sense is the second thing wrong as he made a bad call by sleeping with people who apprently had the same set of morals. And lastly please remember that you are responsible for your actions. He alone is to blame for the crap he is in and will have to live with it. Lets be real an entire country told him to stay home. You are in the minority here Observer and Im sure your morals are no higher than his.

Observer completely misses the point. I don't care what people do in private, however perverted, if it is legal, consensual and harms no-one. However, if prominent people get up to this kind of stuff they put themselves at risk of being exposed and if they get exposed they have to pay the price. Mosley was clearly playing out a woman beating scenario at a German camp. Beating and torturing women is offensive. If this had happened to someone else, especially an enemy, Mosley would have hauled him before the FIA and banned him under s151 of the FIA Regs on the basis that this is bad for the image of the sport. Having an outed pervert as President of the FIA is not good for the image of F1.

Should be easy for STR to find a buyer with the clean family image the F1 now has. Maybe they can get Disney to invest in the project.
We are going to be be down to 8 or 9 teams within the next two seasons. Thanks for all your help Max.
AJ is right. mosley was caught (literally) with his pants down. however, if the incident had not been shown in the paper, would anyone have even cared. there would be the usual mutterings from those who dont like him, but none of the invective shown on this site. that robert bloke must be a yank to come up with the stupid comment about mosely visiting observers house. this is a rather crude remark and is better seen in the National Enquirer

Has someone dropped by your house denny? Well as long as no one knows its ok. Right? You took that personally. What is a yank?

robert: Are you saying that he should lose his job because he had sex outside marriage? If not, why mention marriage? And if he, rather than the paper's illicit filming, is to blame, does that mean he cannot run F1? You need to learn to think more clearly.
debs: You have to try to understand that there are many women who are really turned on by S&M sex. If you don't believe me, spend a bit of time googling the subject. You yourself may hate the idea, I understand that - I hate the idea of sex with another man, but I have absolutely no problem with other people doing this if that's their thing.
If it's consensual, private and between adults, what's the problem? Live and let live.
Posted by Observer - Unregistered (2 days 6 hours ago)
Well, there is the spanking, of course. Turned on? Who knows, who cares? He paid women to be allowed to physically abuse them. Whatever you think of this, you have to realise that this IS offensive to many people around the world. I'm sure even the public knowledge that he had sex with a hooker would be to many people. He can't properly represent these people and should thus resign. It will all be decided at the Paris meeting. I think what will definitely decide his fate is whether the nazi connection can be strengthened or not. Although, as I said earlier (and I think I'm kind of in line with you there, Obsy), you don't have to actually be a nazi to get turned on by nazi role play S&M sex.

Ok..enough of this bs for me... I'm here because I love racing.... See you all in some other forum...

Frank G .. did you not read the headline before you posted. The topic is whether Mosley is fit to do his job. As for Observer please get a clue.. we are talking whether Mosley is a retard for being caught in the act. I don't really care what he does and who he does it with. The point is that his judgement at this time stinks and he is losing it. The perversion is just icing on the cake that he should move on. Who would want someone in charge that has no more focus than to end up in a porno movie. Its called deviant behavior.
