Kimi: Six points are better than nothing.

Kimi is my favorite driver.
Even have a child named after him...
But it always surprises me how when thing don't go right, he seem to be unable to catch up.
And what is more annoying still, is that when he got one of those bad week-end, Massa always seem to enjoy a (well somewhat) easy ride.
At any rate Kimi is still a much better driver than Massa, and will always emerge victorious in the long run, but those momentary "unsolvable problem" seem strange to me. Not that they happen, difficulties do arise now and then for everybody, but the fact that he never seem to be able to find a way to rule them out, just find the way to limitate the damage...

Kimi drove like a true world champion, as long as the car makes it to the finish line, he'll score points in every race! Can't wait to see you in Montreal!!!!

He won lat year thanks to RD s sgfavours and is underperforming this year. He owes Ferrari more than Ferrari owes him. If things go on like this, he may be the one that loses his job ccome 09.

Your obsession with bringing up last year's FA / McL thing is dull in the extreme.

Kimi had a storming second half of the championship last year and won the most races -he's a worthy champion. Even if he does have 'off' weekends occasionally.

who named FA? Mc Laren f d up and that was key to Raikkonen s chship. That s a fact, and for Ferrari standards, Kimi didnt exactly set the world on fire. This year he s not dominating his teammate, who we all agree isnt exactly the most consistent driver.

chu, "who named FA---" well you did indirectly, by blaming RDs favouritism (for Lulu). had this not existed, then FA would probably have won the championship! kimi can be a little lacklustre at times. he may hve been hampered by wing damage yesterday. dont forget how critical aero is . FM may not be the most consistent, but he is fast. on an OVERALL average basis, i would consider kimi and felipe to be about equal

No Kimi is on average quicker than Massa, especially on race pace.

The current pecking order of top5 is probably like this:

kimi > Alonso > Sham > Kubica > Massa

Kimi had a damaged front aero but he was still catching LH right a then end of the race so he wasnt that off the pace as LH was rather quick... but I would have guessed had he got on the the tail of LH he would have even more problems in turbunelt airs.

To those who still like to dig the past up had Kimi not been there who would have won the WDC??? Go a bit further back after moving from Benetton to Ferrari how many years MSC did not win the WDC with Ferrari and not lose his job???

Different story, when MS went to Ferrari the team nor the car were top level like when Kimi signed for them.

I just expected Kimi to beat Massa consistently. Seriously, Massa was signed to Ferrari for one main reason, he s never done anything too remarkable outside ferrari

Its the same, they took MS beacsue he was regarded as the best of the bunch of F1 drivers... same reason tehy took on Kimi.... so until theres a better option things will remain the same...

oh chu, i defend you quite a lot but you are getting carried away. massa was quite a revelation when with sauber. i think that he was there at the same time as kimi. further massa was also impressive when he drove for alfa in the old dtm. he is no slouch!
