Xaus from Biaggi in Misano race two!

WSBK is becoming more and more exciting . This race was brilliant when compared to the motogp race yesterday. Also with eurosport losing MotoGP next year WSBK will be a serious competition to MotoGP on popularity.

No wonder Rossi was at Misano, knocks the old MOTOGP procession into a cocked hat. Still in MOTOGP in 2011 there will always be the 25 cc four stoke honda lawn mower cup to liven the procedings up. YAWN I can hardly wait!!!!
Biaggi for works Duc next year then onto wiping the Aussie robots' a**e the next year. Be honest isn't stoner awful!!! (little 's' for a little person) all the charisma of a brick.

Great racing again the only ingredient missing was having Nori at the front as well....it's a quality series..

Anybody watching WSBK now having missed the first few races would be wondering how the hell TB is on top. Looks very ordinary and getting well beat by both satellite bikes great to watch.

Good to see Vale watching the races he is most definately the MAN....

Amazing to see all the people that was slagging the series off for it being angled towards the Ducatis. Now all the comments are for great close racing !
Baylisstic extended his lead..looks like he knows he is up against it but doing the math and just grinding out the podiums and the points rather than risking a DNF

Did anyone hear what Tardozzi was saying about shakey burne and how he would like to see him in the zerox team next year, How about Baliss retires they fling Fabrizio out! and have Biaggi and Shakey..... oh yeah regarding yesterdays racing, brilliant, thanks guys good days work in two completely different races, great stuff.

Great racing... looking forward to going to Brands now! normally a great event with a great atmosphere, if the racing is as close as it has been of late then it will be a brilliant day! hopefully see Nori back up the sharp end as well as he will be a popular guy at Brands!

Great weekends wsbk action even if Haga-san had a few issues. Cannot wait until Brands, it's gonna be great...got at least 20 of us coming for the whole weekend...i'll be in my usualy spot outside Nori's pit with a bloody huge flag.

From the rumours, it does appear like Biaggi and Byrne on the Xerox bikes next year with Fabrizio taking one of the GSE bikes when the come to WSBK next season.

Senior management at FGSport and Ducati want an Italian on one of their bikes and as Max is still one of the biggest names in racing, especially in Italy, it makes good commercial sense to have Max on one of the bike next year.

Xaus was vying for one of the Xerox rides but he has clearly been told that it will not happen and therefore he signed for BMW instead, ensuring a factory ride in 2009.

While MotoGP may have the prestige I think that WSB is much more exciting. The close racing and the prospect of other manufacturers in the series next year will only add to the excitement and popularity. The runaway wins at MotoGP and knowing that only one of three, or possibly four when Lorenzo is back on form, is capable of winning does get boring. When qualifying is done then you know really it's only down to one or two possible winners unless there is a DNF or rain.

MotoGP has to worry that uncompetitve teams at some point may consider getting out of the series. I wouldn't be surprised if Kawasaki at some point calls it quits if they don't turn around.
