Hamilton insists: I'm in my best F1 form ever.

Hamilton vows: I'm in my best F1 form ever.

Flying in the face of critics who claim he has taken his eye off the ball over the course of a torrid past few weeks, Lewis Hamilton insists he has been driving better than ever in the last two grands prix – despite failing to pick up so much as a single point.

Another day, another idiotic comment from Hammy. Dude, just shut up and drive. IF you have that much talent then let your driving do the talking........

Oh dear oh dear, he really just doesn't know when to stop running off at the mouth does he ?. He's better at "spin" than David Cameron. Boxers have a phrase, "He Talks A Good Fight", Hamilton talks a good race, but if he's of the opinion that the last two were amongst his best he clearly needs to re-evaluate.
With each new quote from him I'm more convinced that he was not quite the "innocent" he was portrayed as last season, people castigated Alonso for his public comments, I think Hamilton is outclassing him by a long way,his true personality is gradually shining through, a long time coming but way overdue.

Does Martin Whitmarsh share HAmiltons views I wonder ?.

away from site for a few days. logging in again to find, surprise, surprise, more inane lulu announcements. i ignore the NUTS playboy story as ridiculous but his references to God and his belief that he is driving at his best ever, beggar belief. are there NO other drivers in F1 that crash.net can talk about.

Ok i am a Lewis Fan but he should let his driving do the talking, not his out of control motor mouth!
He is just a wanna be champ at the moment, if he wants to be champ he should get his head down and concentrate on the job in hand, instead of saying silly things!
end of the day Lewis has shot him self in the foot, because if Fernando Alonso was still in McLaren and all the trouble did not happen last year with Fernando Alonso vs McLaren/Lewis, then Lewis may have learnt alot off, of Fernando as he is a decent double world champion!

Ok That's enough now Lewis. I have defended you on this site for some time now, when some were calling you a "one minute wonder" and you were only in the world championship fight last year because you were in the "best car" but if what we are reading is true and you really are so un wavering in your self belief then someone other than you father needs to kick your a?se!
You are good, but you are not yet "the best" that may come in time, but by the time it does you may have very few fans left, I realise you cannot have full control over where when and how your image is used after all you are owned by your sponsors, but for god's sake shut the f??k up, drive the car and concentrate on racing!

Last time out he got one penalty, Heikki got one, and Hamilton had a penalty imposed from the race prior to his "last time out", at least try and be accurate.

No prizes, but who was daft enough to say the following?

"That's why I'm always totally open with you. You know me, I don't bull****.
"You were very supportive last year: you help me get my message across: you help me shine as a normal person to the public."

After last season, Alot of people thought Fernando was the trouble maker.
But they have been proved wrong (even me).
Lewis has been mouthing off saying things that he should not have.
This season Lewis seems to open his mouth and stupid things come out instead of sensible things.
As for Fernando he has done the best thing, said what he has to say, is nuetral, and gets on with the job! even after Lewis ran into the back of him (and it was Lewis fault).
I hope Lewis was man enough to walk upto Fernando and say sorry!
If i was in Hamiltons shoes, i would ignore the press and talk to press through a team press officer, then the right words may come out!

But he can't ignore the press or they'll berate him even more

He needs to learn to say less, or at least think before he speaks to weed out the crap

I'm still surprised the McLaren PR people haven't stepped in, how come he's the only driver of theirs in the last...I don't know how many years....that constantly makes himself look a fool?

Its taken everyone a long time to realise that motormouth Hamilton was the true cause of the MacLaren bust up last year.. His father Anthony started the bull**** flow after Monaco claiming his son was the fastest man out there.. but Alonso was leading you dummy.. do you not think he could have gone faster to hold off the upstart.. you really are a ****. Hamilton's big mouth, arrogance and big headedness has created the most unpopular person on the grid, his lack of respect for Alonso the guy who took the title from MS on two occasions when he was at his peak only highlights his pig ignorance.. the statement "I am the greatest" worked for Cassius Clay, but not for motormouth Hamilton.

I've come to the following conclusion of Lewis.

1) He's very fast and obviously so fast he just missed the WDC in year 1.

2) He's got the social awareness of a cucumber. From his words, people THINK he is bragging, even if he isn't! He needs to stop talking himself up so much, don't talk to the press (like Kimi) and play it cool like Kubica.

3) Lewis has a teenagers mind, in a mans body - because he never had a normal upbringing. He's missing something, a normal life.

The reality is, Lewis cannot win the WDC, until he has experienced more of life OUTSIDE of a race-track. He's a flawed genius, not yet the whole package.

Take his dad out of the pits, and let him grow up.

truefan that is well put in one sense.
Lewis is getting unpopular, because of his motormouth, but his is popular for his ability to drive well on his day and how well he took to drive an F1 car in his first season, that shocked us all i think.
But he cannot handle pressure, unlike Fernando, Kimi can.
If Lewis let his driving do the talking he get on ok.
He should take this into account "think before you speak!"
Or do not speak at all!

I am fan of Kimi and Ferrari... but I have to say I feel very sorry for Alonso. Just listening to Hamilton this year makes me wonder...it could not have been easy for Alonso with Hamilton in McLaren during 2007. In a way, I also feel sorry for Hamilton because he might have lost the best chance of his life to learn loads from a 2 x WDC. A pity for both drivers... Ron should have managed the situation better !!!
