Pedrosa 'working hard' to stay ahead.

Pedrosa 'working hard' to stay ahead.

Dani Pedrosa won last year's German Grand Prix by a massive 13.166secs over Loris Capirossi, during one of the few 2007 races that saw Michelin hold a clear tyre advantage over Bridgestone.

I hope Dani will win in Germany and extend his difference from the other two riders!

Or Dani could be "Mr consistent",...not win the most races..
but take the most podiums, & win the championship on points!!

Hope things don't develop that way !!

Nothing personal against DP - but surely we all want to see a WC that wins races through b**ls-out battling skills ( not Danni's strong point) as opposed to "consistent, though often compromising" placements.

NH was never really credited as a great WC because of this in 2006 - neither would Danni be, and I'm sure he personally would like to take the WC through wins through

I think on a competetive bike, as he is this year, that Rossi and Stoner will be too much of a match for Pedrosa. Mainly because they are far stronger in a fight to the end. I think it will be Stoner and Rossi battling at the front with Dani close behind them but not aggresive enough to make his way to P1. That, with no disrespect to Dani as he is fantastically fast if he gets the smallest break, is what i think the season will be made up of throughout the 2nd half. I wouldn't mind if im wrong! would be great to see some real win it or bin it battles between all 3!

Pedrobot can only take through hiis consistancy, both he and Alberto know this.
Alberto has been working on Pedrobots aggression, trying to help Pedrobot fight more to hold on to positions. If he can hold onto a few more position throughout the year Pedrobot just might have enough points to claim a WC.

Watch out for HONDA, I bet they come back with something better after the summer break. Probably a more powerful more reliable upgraded motor, Pedrosa will win a few more races and just might win the WC.

Ace has a point, Dani can only become WC trough consistancy and hoping VR and CS gets some DNF's or a bad result.. On racing he isn't strong enough for VR and CS..
I consider him a strong contender for Sachsenring and Motegi though..
But if Bridgestone has improved on their tyres for Sachsenring, Casey will beat them again...

WOW, I can see it now...Pedrosa wins one or two races, runs consistently elsewhere, wins the world title, is highly praised through it all, and bores the world in the process. Hmm can you smell 2006 all over again?

WAIT, the 2006 winner shouldn't have won, he was LUCKY right? It was due to someone elses fault correct? There was no drama towards the end, nor was there any fight from that champ correct?

At what point do you freakin 'tards understand that winning IS ABOUT CONSISTENCY, and that dominating figures such as Vale and Stoner are not the norm!?!?!

Spot on Bojangles.

People seem to forget that racing is a team sport.

It's funny how people hail and praise Dani yet his championship run to date is no different than Hayden's was in 06.

Hypocritical maybe?

no doubt Wolfpac...but what are you gonna do, there will always be the US haters out there. What I dont understand is Hayden is probably the most humble guy there, yet gets no credit. There are many different elements involved, and the underlying factor that one can see is Hayden's continual improvment from his entry into motoGP back in '03.

The same can be said about Pedrosa - continual improvement. I think the difference here is that Hayden needs a fresh team and a bike/team that understands his riding style more, whilst Pedrosa already has this in the HRC team, and I honestly think this will be his year, despite Stoner's recent resurgance

Yes agreed a championship is about consistency, and Nicky Hayden had the most points at the end of 06, he was champion. end of! if Pedrosa does the same then good luck to him but he is reducing his chances of a title by sitting back and hoping that 3rd places will rack up enough points. Stoner was consistent last year, consistently at the front! he went and took the title instead of trying to let it come to him. Rossi has done the same in the past many times which is why i think these 2 will be the guys that Dani follows home at a lot of rounds.

I want to see Rossi win but to see him and Stoner fighting for title at last round would be great, if Dani can get in there as well even better!

Ace27 and your ilk should have more respect for riders and people. While it's obvious that you don't like riders like Pedrosa there is no need to continously call him "Pedrobot". While I don't like Stoner I don't go around distorting his name. Grow up! I sure hope that Pedrosa and Rossi beats Stoner bad just because of fans like you.
