Nicky Hayden is eager to give Honda a pleasant parting gift on home soil after qualifying a strong third on the grid for the Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi.
I too like seeing Nicky drift it but he's not a contender and won't be on the duke. Next year is going to be lot harder than this, with DP on BS and JL bedded in and prob on bridgestone as well......

I have never been a Hayden fan but I am a Ducatista at heart and so, with Nicky being named as the newest Desmodromic Saint, I must support him. Something in the way he dealt withIndianapolis earned him that last bit of respect that I have always held back. Likewise Rossi. Do not cheer for him but I GET him now. Hayden actually has had some good rides at Motegi.

i was happy i got up so damn early to watch practice and listen to him the press conference, all i could think was how much he must be gauling pedrosa and puig, specially with some of his disguised jabs at them and honda. great to see!
rooting for number 69 tomorrow and all the other times thats for sure!

Honda's treatment of NH?Give me a break,a motorbike made out of "un-obtainium" a salary of what??$1 million plus?For what to bring it home consistantly in 8th place? Has Honda ever supported sch results for so long?I am neither a fan of NH or a hater. I just cannot see all this lack of support trash I keep reading.I have never had a good paying job,and have always been treated like a dog or worse in all of the various "sweat shops" have been hired into.They all loved me so long as I worked for free or peanuts. I am sure it has been the same for most of us here?A job at NASA/HRC and being treated poorly?I cannot relate to that,I just don't see it that way.Number 1 bike,coached by Doohan?????
