Shinya in Kawasaki again? that's his home. But what about Mika Kallio doing in motogp????he should ride in 2010 in KTM RC8 WSBK, eahhhhhhhhhhh:( good to have Canepa on board, watch him out!

Dont rate canepa yet he seems like another Lanzi. I know his test times are good but he looked d*gsh*t
when he rode wsb, good superpole lap but thats it.

Not sure about this one really the Alice bikes have been less than successful over the past few seasons and the new Ducati will influence the success of the team more than the riders can.

Mika Kallio to motogp = new slide king!!! Mika knows how to drive without traction controls and other handicap-stuff.

Hmmm....? Kallio... never struck me as a fantastic natural rider like dovi, lorenzo and friends. Still, motogp bike may suit him

Not sure about either riders chances in MotoGP, but if confirmed, nice to see two new faces in MotoGP instead of going down the same old path of re-hiring the same faces who have had their chance and blown it.

Kallio is natural talent. You guys should see him riding iceroadracing. Always with two stroke bike against four strokes.

Absolute rubbish, Elias and Giuntoli should stay. Canepa should get Fabrizio's ride in Superbike then go MGP. Kalio should not go up into MGP before Bautista or Simoncelli fact.

Kallio coming up is a joke. He got his butt handed to him on a plate by Casey when they were both on the KTM 125s and he hasn't got any better since. He only started looking good when Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Stoner etc all moved up to 250s. Kallio is a waste of a seat.

I've got to agree with Layton - there was a huge buzz around Canepa but man he just looked out of his depth when he raced the WSBK Ducati. He was awful.
Don't know about Kallio. He is at the sharp end in 250's and most of the quick 250 boys to move to MotoGP have been real fast. Its going to be a big step up though on that bike. I know they have had a couple of OK results but realy that bike is not for riders with L plates.
As for Shinya and Gibers. Well that is just a waste of 2 MotoGP bikes. They may as well sign me to ride them. I'm old and slow.

If Polaris World are finding it hard due to the world recession and have to pull out of sponsoring a 125/250 team how the hell are Onde 2000 who are in the same business sector going to fair any better and find the extra dosh that is needed to run a MGP team

ant west should get a ride before any of these riders how can kwaka and ducati take back riders that didn't perform the first time round or help progress the bikes devolepment give ant one more go with the right bike he will produce the results

Mika Kallio will show to all sceptics that he belongs to MotoGP! You will see it!

It's will and skill!!! Have to hope that Ducati take it serious to help Junior Team as a factory team.

yep andy kallio may be another stoner he has about the same 125/250 formbook it will be interesting. I have always rated Kallio and wonder what he couldve done on a works 250 aprilla.

Sometimes riders who were not so hot in 125/250 shine in MotoGP. Other who were great in 125/250 are a total disaster in MotoGP. So who knows what way it will go for Kalio.

Anyway what bike did he have in 02, 03 and 04 when he finised 11th and 10th in 125's? He was rookie of the year in 02 so must be doing something right.

Kallio is talented for sure and he has shown this.Riding the KTM did not exactly give him the best platform to challenge the big facory teams.Canepa likewise has shoown that he is a gifted rider.That WSBK appearance was not the yardstick to measure him by,however.He has developed the GP8 AND the GP9 so he is at an advantage there.I truly think he will be VERY strong.The question is - will Hayden be another Melandri or will he show us something !!?

You wonder why Kallio has got the ride over other more qualified riders in 250. Then Dorna announce they have struck a deal with a finnish satalite TV company that will be showing MotoGP live.
